Arc'teryx Ether Crew - Short-Sleeve - Men's
April 14, 2010
Does anyone know if this has "anti-stink" qualities? The first generation of technical polyester shirts almost got stinky just by looking at them and thinking about a hike... they've improved but I didn't see any reference to antimicrobial treatment or natural odor resistance in this "HELIUS" material. Any info on how this shirt smells after a long day of hiking would be VERY much appreciated... Martin

Salomon XA Comp 4 GTX Trail Running Shoe - Men's
March 30, 2010
How do these compare to the XA Pro 3D Ultra GTX in terms of using them for ultralight backpacking (carrying 20-25 lbs tops over 50-60 miles). I've used other Salomon trail runners for such backpacks but would like an opinion of which of these two Salomon shoes are best for high sierra fastpacks. thx, Martin

Salomon XA Pro 3D Ultra GTX Trail Running Shoe - Men's
March 30, 2010
Hi everyone, I'm a HUGE fan of Salomon trail runners for fast packing. My only prob has been wear time is low. Any gander of the lifetime of these frequent dayhikes of 8-10 miles and a few 50 or so mile backpacking trips with 20-25 lb pack loads.? Thanks, Martin.

Seirus Xtreme All Weather Glove
December 19, 2009
Do these gloves have sealed seams.... are they TRULY windproof (which seam sealing helps to ensure)? Also, anyone got any beta on how water resistant they are ... I will use them for basic backcountry XC skiing on fair days and snowshoing .... so they'll get occassional snow immersion but not full.... basically, when I fall.

Mountain Hardwear Advance Lightweight Boxer - Men's
September 10, 2009
The first generation of antimicrobial Mountain Hardwear briefs were way too loose and not form fitting.... are these tighter and hold our "packages" in place better to avoid chafing and to prolong trail distances without having to recover from such mundande discomort?
