Great stove

Snow Peak GigaPower Stove, Titanium Manual Ignition

Snow Peak GigaPower Stove, Titanium Manual Ignition

Rating for this product: 5 June 19, 2006

This is the first stove I've ever owned, although I have used backpacking stoves before. It’s great, so tiny, yet stable on ground, logs, tables and fuel is cheap (220grams for $5). Water boiled instantly it seemed. I used very little fuel, from what I could tell, only went for two nights though. I would definitely recommend this as a quality stove for almost anyone. If you need a stove for a huge basecamp, this probably won't handle it, but otherwise I don't see any reason not to get this.

Decent Stove

Snow Peak Titanium Cookware - 3pcs

Snow Peak Titanium Cookware - 3pcs

Rating for this product: 4 June 19, 2006

Against my better judgment I bought these sight unseen. They conduct heat well and evenly in my experience. Make sure the handles are folded out before you put them on fire as they will get a tad too hot to touch with just skin. The only downside is they are on the small side. I would recommend maybe this and then go get one more pot that’s 50-100% bigger than the big one in this set for car camping/short hikes in. Again, my fault, not Snow Peak's. If you want a small set for boiling water or solo or maybe 2 people meals these should suit you, they nest nicely and my stove fits inside the smaller one.
