  • Stomping Grounds:

From Melbourne AUST; but just moved to NYC.
  • Bio:

I love being outdoors. I like meeting other people that are inspired by that too. I like laughing. A lot. And good food. And places and sports where you can find yourself in your zone and nothing else matters and you have a huge unconscious smile on your face. Like riding down a hill and you just wanna yell out WHEEEEEEEEE! That was fun.

Patagonia Down With It Parka - Women's

Patagonia Down With It Parka - Women's

Rating for this product: 3 April 1, 2009

On advice from others i decided to get the large, instead of my normal Patagonia size of medium. Its too big, but it was so damn cold i kept the jacket. And now I just feel like a marshmallow whenever i wear it.

Another disappointment was the zippers on the pockets, which dig into my hands when i put them in there, which is all the time when its cold. And another disappointment was the neck, which is unusually tight, considering i feel like i swim in the rest of the jacket.

I really really really wanted to love this jacket. But no. On the plusses, it is warm and wind proof, but at that price tag, you would certainly hope so.

Pearl Izumi PRO Argyle Cycling Socks - Regular - Women's

Pearl Izumi PRO Argyle Cycling Socks - Regular - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 August 31, 2008

It is a sad fact of my life that I am a sock geek. I particularly like these socks because, they're a good length and fit. Just the right weight for summer and they wick moisture really well. But more than all that, I really like the argyle pattern.

Weird cut, almost see through on the white bits; grippers are really uncomfortable, even more so than most leg grippers. waist bans is almost on the hips. On 2nd and 3rd wears my opinion of them has improved, but only slightly...

Yeah I concur, the flavour isn't over the top but is pleasant and it not loaded with sugar that makes you feel like you have fur on your teeth by the end of the ride. very happy. its as good as Gu's energy gels.

Patagonia Capilene Silkweight Tank - Women's

Patagonia Capilene Silkweight Tank - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 November 28, 2006

Patagonia’s Capilene is just head and shoulder above any other product that I have used as a base layer. These tanks are the perfect layering item for in between seasons for riding. You don't know your wearing them; cos they do exactly what they are meant to; keep you dry and cool.

Outdoor Research Rumor Jacket - Women's

Outdoor Research Rumor Jacket - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 July 10, 2006

I bought this top with the intention of having a comfortable mid layer for backcountry snowboarding, but have since discovered it’s also awesome for winter/fall mountain biking and commuting around town. My friends have noted that I clearly loved it as I wear it all the time. It’s a great cut/fit, great fabric - mid-weight and super flexy. Love it.
