Great socks!
Lorpen Coolmax Multisport Ultra Light Shorty Sock
April 15, 2008
These socks breathe well and seem durable, so they're perfect for mountain biking, which is my intended use for them. I've been looking for something comparable to the Nike Kevlar socks that I've had for years that are the only ones that don't seem to disintegrate after a few rides, and these seem to be it!

Beast of a bag
DAKINE Split Roller 120 Bag - 7300cu in
March 27, 2008
This bag can fit everything. It's solidly built, easy to wheel, and gets around easily. My only complaint is that it doesn't stand up very well when it's extremely full - it has a tendency to tip over.

No, it just has two distinct compartments.

Good socks, but a little thick for "racing light"
SmartWool Ski Racing Light Sock
March 20, 2008
These socks are definitely a lot thicker than I expected. I have a pair of Lorpens that are super-thin and light and these are definitely more what I would consider midweight. They're good, but don't expect super-thin.

Excellent gloves
Hestra Dominique Perret Glove

These are high quality leather gloves, and are great for above-freezing conditions. They definitely are lacking in colder temperatures for full days, but then again, that probably isn't what they're for.

Great socks
Lorpen Antibacterial Ski Socks
June 12, 2006
These socks are comfortable, seem to wick moisture well, and have possibly the weirdest name for a pair of socks ever. The only thing I found particularly strange about them is that they're really, really long. I'm 6'1" and I had to fold them over to keep them below my knees. They still stayed in place fine though.
