The North Face Denali Hooded Fleece Jacket - Men's

February 18, 2009

How big is the hood on this jacket/ Some of the Patagonia jackets say their hood is big enough to handle a helmet. I don't think TNF's hood is that big but I don't want anything that doesn't generously cover a ball cap. Thanks in advance, C

Snags in the material

The North Face El Cap Shirt - Men's

The North Face El Cap Shirt - Men's

Rating for this product: 2 August 9, 2006

I love this shirt (sort of). In fact, I am on my 2nd. I returned my first to the good folks at this site since the runs and snaging started to appear in the fabric after about 6 washings. They graciously gave me a new one of a different color. I have washed the shirt once and it is starting to show snags again. I haven't even taken this shirt out for a good hike yet. The bad news is that I don't trust this shirt to not look like garbage after repeated wearings and washings.
This is my second review of the El Cap. The first review was glowing since the shirt was brand new at the time.

El Cap the best

I love my El Cap and will probably buy another one or two. The product feature that I most like is the SPF factor. If I could change anything, it would be to make it lighter and maybe add a vest pocket.
