Answer to: "I heard that you can get a lid for the cup, is that true?"
Snow Peak Titanium Double Wall Cup 600
October 15, 2008
I use the lid from my Mini Solo Cookset. Snow Peak doesn't have a separate lid for this cup.
Go to backcountrygear.com. They have the lid for this cup, made by snowpeak. Not sure why backcountry doesn't.

Big Agnes Emerald Mountain SL2 Super Light Tent: 2-Person 3-Season
August 15, 2008
I'm not really sure. Seems like backcountry has been doing a lot of this. They will put something on sale and only have one color out of 10 on sale. Seems like they have sold out of last years sale tent and only have the new model. Which isn't on sale. This has been bothering me as of late with these guys.
The price has been tweaked.
Sometimes BC leaves discounted items in the "store" and doesn't put them in the "outlet" because there are more discounts available in the outlet than the store. So that way 40 percent off coupons and the like that can be applied in the outlet, cannot be applied to them.
Not bad, not Good.
Oakley Descent Bike Short - Men's
January 14, 2008
These shorts are nice for mild weather riding but if it's hot out, forget it. The shorts are heavily lined and have essentially no storage. It's okay if you have a jersey (for pockets) on but if you use them to commute not good. It's just nice to be able to reach for your keys or other small items if you need them. Instead you have to take off your pack and dig for keys. A single zip cargo pocket and a lighter liner would have made these shorts a 5.

Feather
MontBell America, Inc. Ultralight Down Jacket - Men's
September 17, 2007
Never pull the feathers out of your jacket or sleeping bag. This is a common mistake. Simply grab the feather from the inside of the jacket and pull it back inside. Don't pull out the down. My patagonia down sweater has the same problem.

Wet
Patagonia Rain Shadow Jacket - Men's
November 5, 2006
Not overly impressed with the Rain Shadow. Used the jacket in Rocky Mountain NP during a big rainstorm. Cuffs were soaked through as were the shoulder areas. What happened with the so called "waterproofness" of this jacket?
