Justin Mool's Backcountry / Groomed Cross Country Ski Setup
Created November 28, 2010
I'm looking for a XC setup that I can use on the groomed trail and in the backcountry. I live in Vermont, so there are lots of trails and terrain to play in.

Rottefella Rottefella NNN Dino Ski Binding - Kids'
November 12, 2010
Hey Nicola. I don't believe they are compatible with NNN-BC boots. The specs are a little misleading. I think that should say just NNN touring. Check out these articles:

Primus EasyLight Lantern
February 27, 2010
What do you think is more environmentally friendly: a lantern that uses batteries, or one like this one that uses disposable (and non-refillable) fuel canisters?

Yakima FullSwing 4
April 19, 2009
Is it worth the extra money to get the swinging rack? ALSO: does anyone know what the differences are between this rack and Yakima's new Swing Daddy?
They look more or less like the same thing ... just with a new name. Anyone?
So ... we have one person for, and one against. Who is going to be the tie breaker? Because I'm still torn between the two.

Salomon Kiana Snowboard Boot - Women's
February 15, 2009
My girlfriend wears size 5.5 shoes, but her feet are pretty wide and she has high arches. She has some Burton boots right now that she hates ... We were going to try the 23 ... How do you think this boot will work with her high arches/wide feet/heel?Thanks.

Salomon XT Wings WP Shoe - Men's
November 10, 2008
Would these be OK to wear if I predominately run on roads? I don't run all that far - only like 3-5miles per run / 2-3x a week - and I also like to wear trail runners for hiking. Would these fit the bill?

Voile SD Mojo Split Snowboard
April 16, 2008
I'm 5ft 7in, weigh 140lb and I ride a Split Decision 166. Although I like a longer board (my resort board is a 158 Custom). I say size up a bit. If I were you, I'd get least at least the 161cm. These boards have a pretty healthy sidecut so they're quick on edge. Plus you'll enjoy the longer length on traverses and in the deep stuff.
