Very comfortable boot. I usually wear a size 9 and bought a size 9 in this boot, but had to change up to a 9 1/2 so that I could fit warm sox into them.

They are about 1 1/2 " taller than my old Sorels and I like the extra height; great for walking in deeper snow. I've only worn them 3 times so far this winter but they have kept my feet warm and dry. I have not been out for more than a couple hours or so, so I'm not sure how they would do for longer outings. One thing that surprised me is that they do not have a gusset for the tongue; it is sort of free floating under the lace like a long running shoe tongue.

They are easy to lace up and to loosen to take off which is nice. And they are very comfortable for walking in; feel very supportive. The traction also seems good on packed or icy snow in the 0 - 20 degree F range. So far, I really like these boots.

These boots are absolutely great looking. But when I tried them on the instep was tight and the heel was very loose (size 9). I put on heavy sox and a liner sock and tried again. Even with the laces tightened up fully, my heel still slipped up and down when I walked in them. I'm certain a smaller size would not have fit across midfoot. Reluctantly, I've returned them. May be great for a different shaped foot.

I have had 2 of these tops, in tonic and plum, now for about 2 months and have worn them a *lot*. I wear them running, travelling, and to work. Plan to wear them xc skiing. They launder well. I put them in the washing machine but not the dryer. They are so comfortable - no itch and no odor - that today I'm ordering the persimmon. And what a relief that they fit somewhat loosely.
