Dynafit TLT Vertical + Comfort Ski Brakes

Rating for this product: 5 January 8, 2008

Excellent bindings. Mounted on Atomic Janaks.

The plastic toe piece latch is quite durable. The latch was forced completely vertical by a small tree and it survived several hard strikes with a ski pole grip to get it to release. Also, the volcano accepts the ski pole easier than the comforts for rotating the heel piece.

I have used these bindings for a complete season in area (primarily Taos) as well as many days in the backcountry with no problems. I have increased the vertical heel release tension above the specified setting for in area use because of unexpected tour mode falls.
