Line Eric Pollard Pro Ski

December 10, 2009

Unless they changed the flex on the EP Pro's from last year, they will be way to soft for you. I am 6'6", but only 195 and I found the EP Pro's way to soft. On the other hand, I loved the Bibby's. I'd even look into the 190 Bibby's if I were you. The little bit of camber will be nice for touring and the extra length with be awesome in the powder.

Oakley Crash Jacket - Men's

December 3, 2008

Hey man, the jacket is definitely insulated throughout the entire jacket. I believe a 100g of Primaloft insulation. I have it, and when skiing 20 degree weather over here in Tahoe, I never have to wear more than a Patagonia Cap 2 and I am way warm. Let me know if you have any other questions about it. And yes, it runs BIG, but in a good way. Peace.

Super Smooth

Black Diamond ATC-Sport Belay Device

Black Diamond ATC-Sport Belay Device

Rating for this product: 5 May 28, 2008

Don't quite know why Phunk gave it 1 star because I think the ATC Sport kicks ass. Super smooth. Makes feeding rope out for the leader really easy. Also locks off nice and fast and easily holds big falls. I use a 10.2 and a 9.8 and it works well with both. It even works with 11mm ropes at the gym easily. You can also never have to many belay devices so why not pick one up. Cheers.
