I am an avid ultra marathoner who is currently on the "Recovering From Injury" list. Secondary to ultra distance on trails, I love biking (mountain and road), climbing (rock and ice), camping (beer and steak), kayaking (casually on rivers), and snowshoeing.

I want to put bindings on my snowshoes. Is that possible? The strap-in method that showshoes have just never stays tight (especially if you try to run) and I want to be able to clip in and go, but I know nothing about skis or bindings. Could I rig a ski binding onto a snowshoe?
