The BEST pad ever . . .

Therm-a-Rest ProLite 4 Sleeping Pad

Therm-a-Rest ProLite 4 Sleeping Pad

Rating for this product: 5 October 17, 2007

OK, so I read the other reviews on this pad and thought, yeah sure, it can't be that good. Well, I was wrong. It is not only as good as it has been reviewed, it is even better! It is GREAT! I got the short one because I was concerned about weight, oh and the price. But it works fantastic. I have support and comfort right where I need it. I never even felt the ground and there was some sticks and stones under the leaves (I was praticing "Leave No Trace"). But I didn't feel them. They didn't break my bones! A remarkable product and a resonable price! Don't even think twice about buying a Prolite 4 Sleeping Pad, just DO IT! Any size will do if you want the best night's sleep under the stars. If comfort is important to you so that you are rested up for the rest of the trip, get this pad! Oh, and don't forget the stuff sack, really worth every penny too.

The best stuff sack for the best pad ever . . .

Therm-a-Rest ProLite 4 Stuff Sack

Therm-a-Rest ProLite 4 Stuff Sack

Rating for this product: 5 October 17, 2007

You bought the Prolite 4 Sleeping Pad, right? Now buy the stuff sack to go with it. Simple as that. You won't be strapping your pad as you stuff it in the sack. And you know, stuff is not the right word. It's more like, it slips into the sack. Once your pad is rolled up, it slips right into the sack and then it sort of fills up the sack, beautiful. Mine came without a blemish but I understand it's got a lifeitme warranty, so no problems. Get the best with a Them-a-Rest Prolite 4 Sleeping Pad and the best sack for it! Not just a Trail Running Shoe . . .

The North Face Ultra 103 XCR Trail Running Shoe - Men's

The North Face Ultra 103 XCR Trail Running Shoe - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 October 17, 2007

In fact, I'm wearing them right now! These shoes are comfortable enough for everyday wearing. And someone said (PierceTheVoid, I believe) that the black ones, which I got, look really cool. And they do!, Just a remarkable shoe for a reasonable price, if comfort is what you want. I've got a great NF waterproof hiking boot, got it right here at backcountry.com, but I needed a light weight hiking shoe. After reading the reviews and comparing all the contenders, The North Face Ultra 103 XCR Trail Running Shoe outpaced them all! And the bonus gift, at the time of purchase, was the NF Softshell Windproof Beanie - great for keeping your head warm at night.

Great little cap

The North Face Softshell Windproof Beanie

The North Face Softshell Windproof Beanie

Rating for this product: 5 October 17, 2007

I use this at night to keep my head warm of course, and I have not lost any sleep from the use of this beanie. I didn't even know there are "two vents inside that can sometimes scratch your forehead". I didn't feel them enough to stop my sleeping. I must say the price was right, as this was a gift with the NF 103 XCR Trail Running shoe, so no complaints from me! A great shoe by the way, read my review on them.

Spacious 3-person 3-season tent

The North Face Moraine 33 Tent 3-Person 3-Season

The North Face Moraine 33 Tent 3-Person 3-Season

Rating for this product: 5 April 12, 2006

This is a very good, well made tent and very easy to set up. I really like the ventilation of this tent. The rain fly works very well and it is easy to attach, due to the color-coded yellow tie down. I also ordered the footprint for this tent for the added protection and easy cleanup that it provides. All-in-all, a great product for the price.
