The North Face Ingrid Backpack - Women's - 1460cu in

April 1, 2009

I posted the original comment about the sleeve not being padded. It is not. Ignore what most websites say about the laptop sleeve! Like I said, my friend HAS this daypack and there is no padding in the sleeve itself, just on the back panel of the pack. I have a North Face Recon pack which has a nicely designed, padded laptop sleeve (standard on the larger daypacks) but the Ingrid lacks this.

The North Face Big Shot Backpack - 2015cu in

Rating for this product: 5 March 2, 2009

The Big Shot rocks, and definitely looks cool. Its ONLY DOWNFALL is that the organizer panel is in the main compartment, and, like others have said, nearly inaccessible if you are carrying a full load of gear, laptop, etc. Many (most) of the other, larger, north face daypacks have the organizer panel in a separate compartment and this is a MUCH better design. My Big Shot is several years old and in great condition (almost no wear), but I am going to get a Hot Shot next time for this fact.

My friend has this backpack, but the laptop sleeve is NOT padded (otherwise, the pack is great). Did anyone else notice this? Every description I find for this pack online says the laptop sleeve is padded.
