I have only used it once for an overnighter at a lake. I have a 10 day backpacking trip planned for August, I should know more then. But I agree with one other reviewer, it does seem a little bulky for backpacking considering the manufacturer, you would think it would be lighter. Plus there is only a 1 year warranty instead of lifetime like most others. So hopefully I will be able to give a more thorough review later.

I have been using it this summer, I like it for the most part, but the hood falls down over my eyes & there is no way to tighten it to prevent that from happening, so the hood is almost worthless to me. I got it for my backpacking trip in August, but I had to get a rain hat, because I couldn't see where I was going & in Alaska it is good to be able to see what is up ahead of you. Also the side pockets seem to be further back than most coats, just something to get used to.
