If its anything like the seam helmet, you just pop out your current ones and then pop these new ones in. They aren't cumbersome at all, they feel just like the normal ones. The charger is a just a USB cable that you can plug into your computer.

I've been through the basic BD Momentum and also the Adjama. This thing ROCKS.

It fits well around the waist (got a Large and i'm about a 34'') and the leg loops are what make this thing awesome. All adjustable leg loops, once adjusted, only stay at one size. But your legs expand and contact depending on certain movements you make while climbing. Although the Sama's leg loops are "adjustable", they do stretch and that means they are more likely to accommodate your legs while you climb.

The Sama is the most comfortable harness I've worn to date!
