Nice looking and practical
Mountain Hardwear Cordillera Short - Women's
October 20, 2006
I bought these shorts over the summer at another store and fell in love with them. I wish I could find them in every color! The sizing seems pretty accurate to me, and a lot of Mountain Hardwear stuff runs really small, so I think these are actually more appropriately sized. The fabric is great: moderate stretch, smooth looking, and dries fast. The design of the short is fashionable and practical.

fabric too delicate
Marmot Mesita Shirt - Short-Sleeve - Men's
August 28, 2006
My husband liked the appearance of the shirt, but within hours of putting it on for routine casual wear it had multiple large snags on the front. It seems to be a common problem with many of the technical knits, although Arc'teryx seems to have it figured out.

Mountain Hardwear Canyon Shirt - Sleeveless - Women's
August 28, 2006
I'm quite fond of Mountain Hardwear clothes, both for style and function reasons. This is a very practical sleeveless blouse- great with a cami underneath. Well made and decipherable sizing.

Very pretty for a sporty blouse
Mountain Hardwear Mesa Half Sleeve Shirt - Womens
August 28, 2006
I like Mountain Hardwear clothes, and this one exemplifies why - great style with the half sleeves and fitted bodice and great function with the front zip pocket. More for travel than outdoor/hiking type use. Nylon fabric isn't as wicking as other functional fabrics.

Beware the location of manufacture
Patagonia Capilene Silkweight Boxers - Men's
August 28, 2006
My husband usually loves these boxers, but this pair was NOT as good. When looking at the label I realized that theses were made in Mexico rather than the US. That seems to make a difference as the waistband on these curls and the fabric is not as silky. One wonders if it was some kind of Patagonia experiment or something?
