Salomon B52 TS GTX Winter Boot - Women's

Salomon B52 TS GTX Winter Boot - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 December 17, 2008

After doing ALOT of research for a winter boot, I chose these.. Brand new out of the box, I hiked 14 miles round trip, with 3,000 ft. of elevation, in snow. At times being close to knee deep. Must say, I was the only one with warm and very happy feet.( I also had gators on ) Felt like well broken in old friends. The tread could be better, but, I got these for snowshoeing/hiking. They have a tendency to slip on icy ground, but what doesn't! I would highly recommend these boots. Very lightweight... Might have to buy another pair before they are no longer available!

Voile Split Decision Snowboard

Voile Split Decision Snowboard

Rating for this product: 5 April 4, 2006

This is a great board with well designed hardware. The middle edge does protrude downward slightly and when it is super sharp, can make it a bit tricky on flat hard-pack. I just slightly chamfered the edge and it is fine now. When I stomp the snow off before getting on a chair (which isn't too often since I use this board mostly in the backcountry) the rear clip will sometimes come undone. Not a huge problem, just something to watch out for. Overall, I am very impressed with the board and hardware.
