my groomer ski

4FRNT Skis STL Alpine Ski

4FRNT Skis STL Alpine Ski

Rating for this product: 4 March 6, 2009

i love this ski for ripping groomers. yeah, not the intended use of a super durable park/jib ski, but it actually slays it all over the mountain. the core on this ski is so bomber that i have no problem ripping long turns regular and switch day in and day out. have mine mounted 1cm back from center, and have skied them 40 days this year. dabble in the park? why not!

only reason this ski will never get a 5 from me is the top sheet chips a lot on my pair of 183s, but nothing a well-placed sticker won't fix.

So simple.

Backcountry Access Tracker DTS Beacon

Backcountry Access Tracker DTS Beacon

Rating for this product: 4 November 7, 2008

I really like this beacon, and it's amazing how simple it is to use. On big days, I even wear this guy in-bounds on the steep stuff since the bulk is pretty low. Sure, professional guides and patrollers might have newer gear, but for the price point, ease of use, functionality and track record - this has been a great choice.

Smith Prodigy Goggle

Smith Prodigy Goggle

Rating for this product: 5 October 17, 2008

i love these goggles, and the lenses are super easy to take in/out. I have two pairs, and 2 hop-up kits. combined, you never know what they're going to look like! the spherical tech is AMAZING! if you rock an ol' school Giro helmet, you'll end up with a little goggle gap, so heads up gapers!

this is a super lightweight and easily transferable lens. very easy to swap in/out when conditions change. by far one of the best setups for variable light conditions. ever.

now, if only they weren't stolen with the rest of my worldly possessions! keep these under lock and key. they've been known to be pilfered by your spouse.
