superb bivy

Black Diamond Tripod Bivy Bag

Black Diamond Tripod Bivy Bag

Rating for this product: 4 September 6, 2007

I dont know what other would say but this Bivy is much spacious then I believed. Fabric is some what strange feeling (almost like a paper) but it didnt take me too long before I changed my view. I've tested it one raining night in the garden (it was pouring down) but I've stayed dry. not a drop on me. I am looking forward to using this Bivy at higher altitude very soon.
only down side is: it packs bigger then my 1 man tent!!!

This is the by far the best down liner I have seen so far. I can wear this under my Gore-Tex XCR Jacket with great comfort. It can be worn alone any where. I recommend 100%!!

Mountain Hardwear Cordillera Pant - Men's

Mountain Hardwear Cordillera Pant - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 June 19, 2006

I had these pants on for my last four trips to the field, and I must say it's very comfortable and reliable. I did not expect these pants to be a water repellent, but they do have some DWR effect.

light and comfortable

Arc'teryx Delta AR Jacket - Men's

Arc'teryx Delta AR Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 June 19, 2006

I purchased this jacket as an inner liner used with hardshell. It's very lightweight, very soft but bit tight on the size.
It packs easily. Do not expect this to have any wind protection. Keep your shell with you for wind/rain protection.

super jacket

Arc'teryx Alpha SL Jacket - Men's

Arc'teryx Alpha SL Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 June 19, 2006

I took this to a Solak Mountain in east coast of Korea last month. It rained for three days with strong wind. Fortunately, I had Alpha SL Jacket on me. It’s super light and lined with Gore-Tex, this jacket is a heaven in earth. I also like the large hood. The side arm vent was also nice for removing heat and moisture from inside and preventing condensation forming.
Recommended.

I only had this for just two months. The boots are well made and super comfortable. There’s no break in time needed. They’re superb in the rocky terrain, and they’re good looking too. Highly recommended.

by far the best

Scarpa Lite Ascent Shoe

Scarpa Lite Ascent Shoe

Rating for this product: 4 May 10, 2006

These are great looking and performing shoes. People ask about where to buy them. My only problem is that its bit narrow by the toe. I guess they are meant to be like that. They offer very good grip on the granite rocks.

Outdoor Research Equinox Pants- Men's

Outdoor Research Equinox Pants- Men's

Rating for this product: 5 March 27, 2006

I must say this Equinox pants are the best thing I had so far in my 25 years of hiking/alpine climbing. Equinox pants are really lightweight, but they’re strong enough to meet most of challenges. They’re also impressively fast drying!!
