Arc'teryx Palisade Short - Men's

In general, I'm positive about these shorts. I would agree with one reviewer that the pockets are too low. But the fabric is stretchy and water resistant. I also agree that the fit is tailored to thinner men, like most of the Arc'teryx line. This is fine by me. I did however find that putting my wallet in the back pocket makes the shorts look very asymmetrical. The styling is a bit unconventional but I'm OK with that.

Outdoor Research Zealot Jacket - Men's

I'm with most reviewers here. This is a great lightweight jacket. I like the durability and the minimalist design. This is really the only summer jacket you'll need. However, there use to be an OR celestial jacket that is also good. The celestial is identical to the Zealot except that it has bottom side vent zippers--a plus when reaching in your pocket during a storm. You can't go wrong with either though.
