mountain hardwear trango 2
Mountain Hardwear Trango 2 Tent 2-Person 4-Season
October 13, 2006
This is an awesome tent overall. My only 2 complaints are the distance from the fly to the ground is a little to much (I realize this is for ventilation but, the large top vent does the job just fine.) Also, the hooks instead of continuous sleeves are a little sketchy in high winds but, none the less work fine. Again, overall great. Sets up super fast. Huge front vestibule. Roomy as hell for two people inside. Usable rear vestibule. Tones of overhead storage (mesh.) Coolest fly color on the market!!!

Thermarest trail comfort
Therm-a-Rest Trail Comfort Sleeping Pad
October 13, 2006
Great all-around 4-season pad. My wife and I use these from the car camping trips to the backcountry. I have comfortably slept down to 8 degrees (with a 15 degree sleeping bag.) in winter atop this bad boy. Go buy one!

Mountain Hardwear sub zero
Mountain Hardwear Sub Zero Down Jacket - Men's
October 13, 2006
I bought this jacket last year at end of season, and wish I had had it all my life!! It’s light, and compresses to nothing. The armored shoulders are nice, and the fit is one of the best I have ever worn. Super warm for 650 fill, and no feathers flying out every time you put it on. Super recommendation!!!

Mountain 25 rules!!!!!
The North Face Mountain 25 Tent - 2-Person 4-Season
October 13, 2006
This is a solid tent. It is super warm and comfortable down into the single digits. Reflective guy lines are sweet!! Pretty light in comparison to others in its class. I recently sent this baby in for some warranty work. A hole formed around the nylon tube that attaches the mesh to the body of the tent. This was do to sustained winds of about 25-35 mph. And when I say sustained I mean it. The wind was coming straight down!!! ALL NIGHT!! anyway, I sent her in (Kudos to The North Face for speed!!!) and had her back and good as new in 11 days!!! I would recommend this tent over any 4 season I have seen, used, or heard about.

Denali fleece
The North Face Denali Fleece Jacket - Men's
October 13, 2006
Dude, it’s a Denali. That’s about all that needs to be said. I wear this often as an outer layer with a 20-30 lb pack and it is holding up fine. Don’t buy this baby for fashion, she belong on a mountain!!!

mountain hardwear phantom15d
Mountain Hardwear Phantom 15 Sleeping Bag: 15-Degree Down
March 17, 2006
Overall this bag is awesome. I was comfortably warm down to 18 degrees (with sleeping pad). There is plenty of room in the leg and foot area. It compresses down to nearly nothing, the draft collar is awesome. The inside pocket is nice too. My only complaint is the room in the shoulder/chest area. It was slightly restrictive, but to be somewhat expected from a cold weather mummy bag. Again, not a big deal just something to keep in mind.
