Itchyness

Marmot Wool Crew Shirt - Long-Sleeve - Women's

Marmot Wool Crew Shirt - Long-Sleeve - Women's

Rating for this product: 3 April 2, 2009

Although I imagine this top performs well, as soon as I tried it on I knew I would end up returning it; it was too itchy! I must admit that I am somewhat sensitive to itchy things, be it tags, material, etc. So, while I cannot comment on how well it stands up to cold weather or how it performs in the elements, I can say that if you do not like itchy fabric, do not buy this shirt. Go with Smartwool or Icebreaker (both of which are great) and I think you will be happier.

Good Fleece

Marmot Flashpoint Full-Zip Jacket - Women's

Marmot Flashpoint Full-Zip Jacket - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 March 13, 2009

This jacket is a great lightweight fleece for casual wear. It's good for layering in colder weather but I usually wear it over a tshirt for cooler nights and mornings when walking my dog. I originally ordered a small but ended up exchanging for a medium (I am 5'6 about 120) because I wanted just a bit of a looser fit and the ability to wear a base layer and maybe long sleeved shirt underneath.

Marmot Original Driclime Windshirt - Women's

Marmot Original Driclime Windshirt - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 January 19, 2009

I bought this jacket/windshirt mainly to use while running in cooler weather and it has worked out just great. For as light as it is, it actually keeps me pretty warm and does an excellent job of wicking away moisture. I think if I had to do it all over again I would have ordered a medium (I ordered a small and I'm 5'6 about 120) just so I could have had the little bit of extra length, but I kept the small anyway and have had no issues with it. I ordered it in Bluesky/Celestial Blue and the color is just gorgeous!
