  • Bio:

I love anything outdoors! Just got back from an amazing trip to Peru that included hiking/camping in the Andes and an excursion to the jungle. I'd much rather be outside than in.

Osprey Packs Talon 22 Backpack - 1200-1300cu in

Rating for this product: 5 June 4, 2009

This is the perfect daypack. Good size and super light. Tons of organizing pockets, including hidden ones that are great for travel when you need to stash money, etc. very comfortable on the back and holds up to abuse. I took mine all over peru and it's still as good as new. Got 3 more for friends who loved it so much they had to have one too.

I love this pack. I've used it on day hikes and when I went to Peru. There are tons of little pockets to organize your stuff, it fits well and is super light. Plus the colors are awesome. I bought a waterproof cover for the rainy days.

Marmot PreCip Jacket - Women's

Marmot PreCip Jacket - Women's

Rating for this product: 4 September 22, 2008

I have had several marmot rain jackets over the years and finally got myself this one since my older one seemed heavy compared to the new materials out now. It's fantastic! It's so lightweight and breathable and very comfortable. Plus I love Marmot - anytime there is a problem with gear/clothes they replace it very quickly. My only knock is that (on me at least) the small is just a bit small to layer comfortably underneath and the medium is too large.

The North Face Horizon Utility Pant - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 September 8, 2008

i have been looking for hiking pants that didn't come up to my boobs practically and that actually fit well and looked good and did their job. Well I found them! These are lower than the average trek pants and are lightweight and breathable. I wore these in the Andes in Peru and in the Amazon Jungle. Love these pants so much that I bought another pair!
