Great but thin

MontBell Ultralight Thermawrap Jacket - Men's

MontBell Ultralight Thermawrap Jacket - Men's

A little too thin for me. Doesn't really make sense. Otherwise a great fit, high quality and comfortable.

I love these wool bottoms, smartwool did a great job of keeping them simple. The best ones I've had.

Nice fit, a little bulky

GoLite Visor

GoLite Visor

Rating for this product: 3 April 6, 2007

Compared to the team hat by Golite the visors are bulky. Great fit though. They could slim them down for a great product.

My favorite hat.

GoLite Team GoLite Hat

GoLite Team GoLite Hat

Rating for this product: 5 April 5, 2007

This hat has quickly become my favorite: long bill, black low glare underside, mesh sides. Only drawback was the overly beefy webbing on the rear closure. Just doesn't match the "lightness" of the rest of the hat. Not a deal breaker though.

Great narrow tube, tough

GoLite Ion Backpack - Women's - 1500 cu in

GoLite Ion Backpack - Women's - 1500 cu in

Rating for this product: 3 March 7, 2007

BTW: It's a UNISEX pack, not a woman's per Golite's tag and customer service.

Too narrow to be useful IMHO. Another few inches and it would be a great pack. If you just need a little tough pack it's great, but not for much than a day out or overnighter if your SUL.

Almost Perfect

Patagonia Wool 2 Crew - Long-Sleeve - Men's

Patagonia Wool 2 Crew - Long-Sleeve - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 February 22, 2007

The thinnest, plushest wool baselayer I've had. I can't wait to put it on, and do any chance I get. Only downside it durability. This item get snags and holes at the drop of a hat. If you machine wash, do so only on gentle without any clothes that have zippers or sharp parts. If it cost $45, I'd give it a 5 and accept the durability issues.

These wind pants are just right. No frills, no over-designed waistband or cuffs. Fit well and do the job.
