Anon Solace Goggle - Women's

February 10, 2012

use the microfiber carrying case that came with the goggles to clean the outside of ur goggles, try ur best not to touch or clean the inside of the goggles as you would damage and remove the ani fog coating...
there are few tips for not getting fog in ur goggles... for one, try not to take ur goggles off and put them on ur forehead as the sweat will create fog, also when you have your goggles on make sure the surrounding of the goggles is in touch with ur skin and not overlapping with ur beanie... also if you wear a mask make sure ur exhale air is not guided towards ur goggles..
if you think u already damaged the anti fog inside ur goggles, try one of the antifog wipes which u can find online or at ur sporting stores.. or contact Anon and see if you can get a replacement lens

Electric EG2 Goggle

February 10, 2012

orange lenses are preferred for the low light conditions and low visibility overcast days, they are also sufficient for the sunny days although a mirrored darker lens will block more light and will be more comfortable but an orange lens is definitely a choice if you're gonna buy only one lens

Rossignol Experience 98 Ski

these are big bold skis, I recommend you stay with 180s, 188's will be faster but also harder to control and unless you're a big mountain charger which you might very well be (not judging your young age) I would stick with 180s and enjoy the power and stability of these badass skis in every condition

S7 has a full wood core and it's a little wobbly and soft at high speeds, great ski for powder, you should look at super 7 which is basically S7 plus a sheet of metal (titanal) and that makes it stiffer for those super high speed runs..

Lange Super Blaster Ski Boot - Men's

Lange Super Blaster Ski Boot - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 December 16, 2011

coming from a racing background, I'm a super aggressive skier but racing boots were too stiff for my everyday use and ski patrol duties where I walk and hike a lot, and these boots are my most favorite boots ever! 102mm wide has plenty of room for all the screws in my foot but it's super comfortable and at the same time hugs ur feet so well that every movement transfers straight to ur edge... the 120 flex is more comparable to 90 flex in a salomon boot.
love the walk future, just open the second buckle and immediately the boot flexes all the way for easy walking and standing.
the replacable rubber soles are great for hiking and walking from ur car were all the other skiers are sliding all over the place awkwardly!

Backcountry Access Tracker DTS Freeride Package

December 15, 2011

This kit is for both the skier and the rescuer, these are the minimum equipment every skier should carry while skiing around possible avalanche terrain, the way the beacon works is that when you strap it on in the morning and turn it on, it automatically on the "send" mode so if you get caught under an avalanche, your friends and other rescuers will turn their devices to "search" mode and they will pinpoint the person wearing it..
Also it takes practice to get used to using the beacons in a case of emergency. you also need the shovel and the probe to determine the exact location and dig up your friend in case that you're the rescuer.
there are many avalanche awareness classes, so check with your local resort..

Light, comfy and badass

Giro Remedy S Carbon Helmet

Giro Remedy S Carbon Helmet

Rating for this product: 4 April 5, 2011

Super light helmet, very comfortable , big opening suitable for most goggles, Ventilation works great on super hot days.
I feel so much more secure wearing this skiing trees since I hit one couple years back and broke my jaw!
the only thing is everything attached to it keeps falling off, I already replaced 2 of the screws to the visor and also the goggle strap holder in the back fell off.. but this is after 2 seasons..
It's just that u can't put this helmet on and go ski a green run all day, u look ridiculous! this helmet screams badass and u should buy it if u think u can live up to the hype..
overall I highly recommend this helmet
