Used this stove on 8 days canyon trip. Output is awesome, water start boiling immediately even on the half blast. Tried to do pancakes and found it simmering well. Wind protection is not bad for an integrated wind screan. Stove is stable and packs compact. Used it with Snow Peak 1400 pot, MSR kettle and Backcountry 700 ml mug, all titanium. Worked with all of them well. Used it with Snow Peak 110, 250 and Brunton 250 canisters, no problem. At some point soot start covering little mesh where ignition is firing, so if you have a problem with it, just clean it with the tooth brush. In really wet weather sometimes ignition would not work, as expected, so just use the lighter. After it is dried it works fine. Stove fits very well in Snow Peak 1400 pot in supplied hard case. Unfortunately didn't buy it from Backcountry, even so they are my primary source for this stuff.

Didn't use this one 2L but bought it after using 6L one. This one is a bit smaller to be used for backpacking. Looked in to lighter red version, but this one is the best. Yes, it may be a bit heavy but with a oz or two comes lots of flexibility. Adding to it valve cap and you can use it hanging from the tree. When not in use takes a little space and can be lashed to backpack in many different ways. Update 07/14/09. Used both 6 and 2 liters for a canyon trip and yet again proven to be really usefull. 6 L used as a camp water holder ether suspended from the rope or on top of the table. This one was outfited with MSR spigot. One bag was enough for all of the Dinner, Tea, and the rest of the needs for 5 people for the evening. Smaller 2 L was for extra water during hiking and was directly placed in backpack. Never leaked or gave any discomfort. After using it for about 2 years no sign of damage or any visible wear. Great product and while not cheap totally reliable and usable.

Got this as an addition to the Dromedary bag, can be used to dispence water with one hand, and hanging Dromedary bag on the tree creates "outdoor plumbing"

Stove is well built, ignites without any issues and adjustable from a small flame up to the roaring heat. Perfect size for Snow Peak 1400 or MSR tea kettle. You can store, MSR, Fuel, stove and wind screen inside Snow Peak 1400. Auto ignition is nice and I am looking forward using it this season. An a separate note, that had to be a Japanese thing with folding, if you fold it correctly it makes a perfect square in the middle. As always great service from backcountry.

Great pot. I used it for a backpacking trip. MSR teakettle fits inside and if you put around it small wash towel there is no rattle. Cleans easily and look well engineered enough for anything that you can think of. Update 07/14/09. Used it on the latest 8 dayd canon trip with Snow Peak BF canister stove. Proven to be yet again great pot for about 5 people freeze dried food, and then tea (2 boilings). With Snow Peak BF boiling is fast and stove in its case could be stored inside the pot. Pan (lid of the pot) is not usable for any baking as food stick, managed to make pancakes but it wasn't easy and required good amount of oil. On the positive side cleaning was easy even when food got stuck. On high flame got some colouration to the lid but none that can impact service, more of a character marks. Over all after around 3 years of usage I am satisfied in product.

Great pack. I used it recently on the Gray Lock Mountain. When I was buying it, the question was whether to get Bora 65 or 80. I picked 80 so if needed you can compress it to eliminate extra room. After packing it light (at least with my pack rat abilities) I found not that much of extra room if any. On the trail the pack proved itself over and over again. No problem with sore back or muscle pain. Side packets are great if you put Nalgene and something else in (like fuel bottle). Reading from many people that Nalgene tend to escape from the pocket, I bough OR Nalgene holders that you can attach to the side straps - that worked really well. On the other note, kangaroo pocket worked well for storing rain gear and some of the small items. So far I am glad I got this one, and while it is expensive, it looks great and quality is a top notch.
