great binding

i've been riding since 1987 and have gone through the whole progression of bindings including baseless and step in(which i hate). the past 4 pairs of bindings i have ridden have been the stiffer, carbon bindings like the cfx. now that i am a bit older and don't ride as much and definitely ain't hittin the biggest of airs anymore, i bought these bindings looking for a good balance between comfort and performance rather than sacrificing comfort for the performance. here's the deal, these are the most comfortable bindings i have ever worn, and the amount of flex they do have is perfect for my current ability. i can bomb down the hill as fast as ever, cut through crud with comfort and above all, i look good. seriously, a great binding.

Burton Basic Leather Pipe Glove - Men's

a nice durable leather glove, you have found it. i have the xls's and don't consider my hand to be xl, but it fits well, a little tight at first but has broken in well. very warm, obviously not for real cold days, but great for spring riding or hiking something.

Burton Audex Down Jacket w/ Audex Pack - Men's

And the Audex aspect of it is great. Like other reviewers have said, sound is great, eliminates wires and such. Haven’t used the Bluetooth phone aspect of it, so no review there. In terms of the jackets ergonomic quality, all pockets are well thought out, typical Burton quality, meaning great. I was out in 15f degree windy weather, and it was awesome. The hood fit well, very little wind getting through once it was correctly adjusted. Plenty of movement, and warmth was optimum. I had no layering, just a t-shirt, bib pants and the jacket. Sweet.
