Ordered these after speaking with one of the BC gear specialists. Been looking for something to replace a pair of shoes which I'd worn out. Unfortunately, I have size 14 feet (not wide though). So it's difficult to find what I'm looking for.

Anyway, ordered these to try as I was told they should be fine in a 14 and they carry them in a 14. I liked the way they look so I figured I'd give them a shot. Unfortunately, these things run a LOT smaller than their listed size. They were much too tight. So I had to send them back.

Actually found them locally and they had a 14 wide and I figured I'd try that out. These, too, were too tight. Again, I don't wear a wide shoe but these were much too tight.

I do like the way they look though (although not all of the colors).

Decent sandals

KEEN Ormond Slide Sandal - Men's

Ordered a pair for a recent trip based on various reviews I've read of them. First thing is they run small (about 1/2 size). Because their not leather, they don't stretch either so, if you normally wear a certain size, try and go 1/2 size larger.

When you first put them on, they're comfortable but not THAT comfortable. The footbed seems to wear in and conform to your foot over a little use and they get much more comfortable.

They're not overly hot in the summer weather but they're not terribly cool either. If you're looking for a sandal which is going to be cooler for those hot days, these really aren't it. Not that you can't wear them when it's hot outside though. Wore them in FL with 90+ degree heat and 100% humidity.

Seem to be quite grippy--even when wet. Wasn't worried about slipping at all.

Overall, a pretty good sandal.

Great shoes

Vasque Breeze Low Day Hiking Shoe - Men's

Have had the shoes for about a year. Only one complaint--the sole on the back of one of the shoes has been separating from the upper. Shoes work fine but that part annoys me.

They're extremely comfortable and nice and cool in the summer. Just don't wear them in the winter, the same breathability which makes them cool in the summer makes them cold in the winter.

The soles are nice and stiff and help a lot when walking over uneven rocky terrain.

I just love these shoes. to be quite honest with you. I wear a size 14 (not wide) and they fit perfectly.
