Big Agnes Horse Thief Sleeping Bag: 35 Degree Down

Big Agnes Horse Thief Sleeping Bag: 35 Degree Down

Rating for this product: 5 January 27, 2006

I am always sliding off my sleep pad, as my tent sites are rarely level! The pad inside the bag not only prevents this sliding, but also provides just enough insulation underneath to keep me warm even on cool fall nights. I am also glad to shed some pack pounds and gain some pack space. It’s a great item!

Vasque Sundowner GTX Backpacking Boot - Men's

Vasque Sundowner GTX Backpacking Boot - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 January 27, 2006

This is my 2nd pair of sundowners. I have fitted and sold boots for years, and thus have sampled dozens! For me, the sundowner is just the right balance of stiffness and flexibility. My old pair (just retired after a 133-mile Northville-Lake Placid trek) will be missed, but graces my bookshelf.

Just what I was looking for.

Snow Peak Trek 1400 Titanium Cookset

Snow Peak Trek 1400 Titanium Cookset

Rating for this product: 5 January 27, 2006

If you want lightweight, compact, and practical cookset, then buy this one. You will not be disappointed. It’s great for solo or 2-person trips, but I recommend an additional boiler pot that can nest inside, so you can make a clean cup of coffee after dinner!
