Late to the party, but the binding has an adjustment range of 3.5 US sizes so it'll probably work just fine.

LEKI Wanderfreund Antishock Trekking Pole - 1 Pole
September 6, 2010
I just bought a pair of these for my dad who is disabled but does a lot of walking and is doing a little more trail walking (not quite hiking). The grip is very ergonomic and is super stable when used as a cane. The range of extension is great because he can also make it tall enough to use like a trekking pole holding on on the vertical part of the grip. Not sure this would work for everyone - he is 5'5". Using them as a pair is very stable and has allowed him to venture into more uneven terrain.
The rubber tip is nice to have as they can by used inside, sidewalks, etc and then easily switched to the tip for more natural terrain.
I'm not sure about replacing the existing grip...
