Great Expectations

Arc'teryx Delta LT Zip Pullover - Men's

Arc'teryx Delta LT Zip Pullover - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 May 5, 2006

I was expecting something a little more warm and sturdy, however I have not returned it. Turns out it's exceptionally warm, sturdy, and comfortable. The advertisement for being the "perfect layer under a softshell" had me imagining being able to match the warmth I have with my hardshell and Windstopper combo with a softshell and this mid-layer. That's not going to happen. Still, I probably wear this more than anything else I own. It's perfect for getting around in the morning or anytime you want something as warm as a sweater yet somehow lighter than a long-sleeve cotton shirt.

Very Nice

Mountain Hardwear Defiant Pant - Men's

Mountain Hardwear Defiant Pant - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 February 4, 2006

Everything about these pants is on the mark. The double closures on the side ensure that they stay securely fastened. The zips up the sides allow me to put them on/take them off over my boots and the zip in the front...well, now I don't have to undo everything and fumble with all of my clothes when I need to make room for more beer.
