VERY light and compressible down to incredibly small size. Just tested it in the high 40's in my yard and its plenty comfortable temp-wise. Taking this one to Maine in June for real test and then to Arizona's high desert.

Great shell...

Outdoor Research Mentor Jacket - Men's

Outdoor Research Mentor Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 April 3, 2008

Took this shell out on 30 miles of the Appalachian Trail in Virginia. Temps were 20 degrees below average. Kept me warm and dry during wind, sleet, and rain. Vented well even with 40-pounds of pack and two layers underneath (one fleece). A great shell. Glad I bought it.
