Very Warm but too problematic

Mountain Hardwear Sub Zero SL Hooded Down Jacket - Women's

Mountain Hardwear Sub Zero SL Hooded Down Jacket - Women's

Rating for this product: 1 October 23, 2009

I loved this jacket (so warm) until it ripped after 3 months. I don't know how or why because I basically walk to and from work in it and that's it. I called Mountain Hardwear about it and they said they'd fix it for $90 plus S&H. I was appalled by this but then the guy on the phone was a total jerk. I called to complain about the jerk and the assistant manager and the manager basically called me a liar! Nobody from customer service was helpful in any way. I will never buy Mountain Hardwear again. My boyfriend has a similar Patagonia jacket and he loves it (and if there's a problem they fix it or replace it free)! Stay away from Mountain Hardwear unless you are willing to be belittled by the "customer service".
