ARC’TERYX is not worth the money

Arc'teryx Minuteman Bib - Men's

Arc'teryx Minuteman Bib - Men's

Rating for this product: 3 January 5, 2007

These pants are great and are everything you would expect from a 3-layer Gore-tex pant; however, they do not have full side zippers or ever zippers around the boots. Thankfully, you can still zip the sides down to use the bathroom. ARC’TERYX makes good stuff but the Mountain Hardwear Tenacity pant is a better buy, and I would never buy the Minuteman bib again. Despite the negatives, I used them in some extreme weather and they did their job.

Go with the BD full skins

Black Diamond GlideLite Nylon Kicker Skins

Black Diamond GlideLite Nylon Kicker Skins

Rating for this product: 3 January 5, 2007

I bought these Ascension GlideLites for a friend, and he had no complaints, but if you are going to be pulling sleds in steep terrain or want to skin even the steepest slopes, spend the extra money for the full-length skins. (These are great for using on more than one pair of skis though since they do not have to be cut).
