Expected Oakley quality

Oakley Why 8.2 Sunglasses

Oakley Why 8.2 Sunglasses

Rating for this product: 5 January 18, 2006

Pros: They stay on pretty good. Lens quality is superior. Lens hardness is very superior. No distortion evident at center/edges of lens. Excellent weight/balance. Last but not least, very spiffy looking :-)
Cons: The nose pieces tend to be problematic after a year. As with any frameless sunglasses, flex develops on the bridge as it ages. Oakley's arm design can be improved: when arms are folded, ends protrude about 1/2" from the edge. While these protrusions are probably there to add strength while the glasses are worn, it would be a huge + if they could update this design to make them less protruding.
