Suprateam Super Sweet

Nitro Suprateam Snowboard

Nitro Suprateam Snowboard

Rating for this product: 4 December 15, 2006

I have used this board in everything from deep Utah powder to New Zealand ice. If you can give it then this board can handle it. Not for the faint or heart (or beginners). This board works well as a do everything board, mainly focused on all mountain freestyle.

P for Plush

Burton P1 Snowboard Binding

Burton P1 Snowboard Binding

Rating for this product: 3 December 15, 2006

These bindings are super comfy and plush, so if you are complaining about straps then try these out. They did lack a bit on the responsiveness. I guess it is all about trading performance for comfort. All in all they did the job better than a Lazy Boy Chair. If you want more responsiveness get the CO2s as they are almost as comfy as these.

Great shoe as long as you pack less than 30 lbs

The North Face Hedgehog XCR Low Hiking Shoe - Men's

The North Face Hedgehog XCR Low Hiking Shoe - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 December 15, 2006

Yes, I used these on a 3 day pack trip while carrying over 30lbs. By the end of the trip it was apparent that they were not made for that. These shoes are a sweet DAY hiking shoe. Waterproof, very comfortable and they hold up pretty well. The tongue is a bit weird. If you have bone spurs on the top of your foot you might have some pain until you get the tongue to sit in the right way. Plus they look pretty sweet.

The do everything boot

Montrail Stratos XCR Hiking Boot - Men's

Montrail Stratos XCR Hiking Boot - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 December 14, 2006

I used these boots as my only pair of shoes for 6 months in New Zealand. I did everything from Backpack with a 30+ lb pack to walking through museums. Temperatures ranged from 0 to 80, and weather conditions from dry to snow to when the hell is this rain going to stop. These took it all and with only slight scuffing on the ankle area. They stayed dry to the bone (except when I had to walk through waist deep water) and very comfortable for a wide footed person as my self. If you something between a full on backpacking boot and trail runner this is it. I love these things.
