Nice comfortable shoe right out of the box. Not sure about durability yet - haven't worn them hiking/trekking yet but looking forward to those things. Have been wearing them (while they're still newish looking) to work wear I walk on hard floor and outside all day. So far - so good.

Patagonia Castanza Pants - Men's

Rating for this product: 2 December 12, 2008

I was looking for a comfortable, functional work pant. From my experience, most Patagonia clothing (usually with their casual stuff) is a kind of gamble on the fit. I lost on these since they fit too baggy (I'm 34x32 in most other clothes/brands). Also, I was looking for a secure rear pocket closure - which they didn't have. I returned these but that's not to say they wouldn't suit someone else .

I was looking for a comfortable, straight forward, all-round hybrid pant for light hiking, travel, shopping, and even my day job if necessary. Anyway, these worked well. The material feels good, looks presentable, is durable and there is one back pocket that zips shut for security. Finally, I got a direct hit (fit) since I always have troubles with Patagonia sizing. (I'm a 34x32)

Nice comfy shirt. For me, Pat shirt sizing has improved I now take an 'M' size perfectly-I'm 5'11" 175 pounds. As usual, for a shirt, it's a little pricey and would recommend waiting for sale.

This is my second pair after wearing the first pair over ten years. As expected, these are very nice boots; they fit well -don't swoosh around when walking in deeper snow. Very warm and not bad looking either. Overall -Great boots; get a pair if you can while in stock - I had to wait till this year to get my new ones since they sell out fast.

I needed a hybrid sandal to function at the beach, at the river, in the river, and for the long walk home - all without coming off or the irritating flip-flop sound. These did the trick with comfort and style. NO bad points. Highly recommended.

Kalmine Canvas Pant

The North Face Kalmine Canvas Pant - Men's

Rating for this product: 2 May 11, 2007

I was looking for a cotton-based relaxed-fit utility pant with extra security pockets. The material is nice and they have a relaxed cut, but I found the side pockets too low -around knee height- so anything heavier than a piece of paper rattled against my knees when walking. Other than that, a nice comfy pant.
