    Hiding in the Hills and Stalking the Streams of Salt Lake City Utah

    As an avid fisherman I can usually be found in the waters of Utah stalking big Brown Trout, Cutthroat, Rainbows, or brook trout. If you do not see me there and the snow is fresh then I could be hiding in the hills looking for that perfect run. I will either be ripping it up on a snowboard or I am tumbling on my tele skis.

    Experience:
    Fly fishing- 6 years
    Snowboarding- 12 years
    Tele skiing- 1 year (still getting the hang of it)

    While I participate in many other outdoor activities these are the ones that you will most likely find me doing.

These are quite nice. The heal has a ton of cushion and they feel great on the old dogs (feet). I do not recommend using these in the Desert where there is a lot of sand because the sand easily slips through the mesh and builds up in the shoes. Made my feet a little raw when that happened. Other than that I love these bad boys. Light weight with good cushioning. They fit true to size.

While these caused me some discomfort I know that they are just needing to be broken in. I have not had much chance to use them and thought that it would be a good idea to use them backpacking in order to break them in. I would not suggest this unless you are fine with unhappy dogs. They are one heck of a boot and I can see that they will improve in comfort when they have had the chance to break in. I would suggest an insole because there is not any cushioning. Generally I wear a size US 9 and I went with the 42.5 size and they fit good with a little wiggle room.

I have used this to take all sorts of photos. I have some video of the activities that I love whether it be fishing or snowboarding. The videos are pretty good and the photos are fine. This is not great for low light days and is not always easy to point and get the shot that you want but it is great for some basic photos or videos. I like it but it can be a pain to get the shot that you want.

These are a nice soft and comfortable material that is used. They fit true to size and cover my butt nicely. The ladies are always watching me walk off. Well that is what I would like to think! Really these are a great pair of pants that are light and great for hotter weather. They are a casual pant so they are not the best for scrambling around in the hills because I could see the material wearing out if exposed to rigorous outdoor activities. I have not had any issues yet but am cautious when out and about in the hills.

I am 6' tall and 190 lbs and the large fit me great. It was long enough to cover my waist but not to long that I felt like I was drowning. It is very puffy and kept me quite warm. Unfortunately I returned mine because I really did not need another down jacket but it was a great jacket but a bit heavier and bulkier than my The North Face Flash Jacket. Great jacket but I just did not need it at this time.

Well I do like these quite a bit but the thing is that I enjoy a looser fit. I think that these will be great for the camping trips because they are light weight and pack small. What I am not to happy about is the trim fit on my thighs. It is not to bad but I like room to move freely. These are a bit tight on my legs and don't allow for any high kicks or big steps. Great pair of shorts but I am not a fan of the cut on these. I think that they need a gusseted crotch so that there is more freedom of movement.

Well let me tell you that I wear these shorts about 4-5 days out of the week. I do have 2 pairs so it is not like I am wearing dirty, smelly, disgusting shorts day in and day out. I love the fit. It is loose but not overly baggy. The fit is true to size. With the gusseted crotch you can move freely without having them cramp "your style". The pockets are deep and can fit plenty of odds and ends. Good look, good feel, great shorts.

Well lets face it, DOG'S like to get wet. If there is a stream or lake or any body of water the dogs want to get in. The problem with this is that you don't think about taking it off before they go for their swim. I have has mine fail because there was moisture in it and it did not want to stay on. It still works, so that is a plus, but I thought that this would be something that I could leave on the collar. I would not suggest it. This is great if you walk your dog at night and will not be by any water for them to soak this in. Take it off after the walk and keep it with the leash and you will be happy. Keep it on your keys when you are not walking the dog and have a little extra light close at hand.

These fit big. So big that I could not keep mine. I also noticed that they felt pretty warm, I thought that these would be nice and cool but that did not seem to be the case. They seemed that they would be a good water shoe and were pretty comfortable (but they were to big for me, about a half to full size to big). I was not a big fan of the laces, they seemed difficult to adjust. I think that I will stick with my Chaco's.

There is not much to this hang board. Screws in with 5 screws and holds well. Heck I am 190 lbs and it did not even budge. 3 different types of holds to use. Pretty dang light weight but not like that really matters other than makes it easier to mount. All in all I am glad that I bought one for some simple training.

Well I had to get these because the dog ate my leather ones and I figured that these may not taste as good so they may last longer. Well I am a size 9 in just about all shoes and measure it on the Brannock Device, I got these in a 9 and the length and width seemed good but it was the strap that was tight. Just took about a good week or two for them to break in. They feel good and fit great. The strap is still snug but not to tight. I love these! Now that I have broken them in I can flip my flop, kick my feet up, and enjoy a cold beverage at the end of a long day.

This does not include all four saddles. You need to either but two of these or you could pair it up with a set of different saddles like the Yakima HullyRollers (Item #YAK0211) for an easier way of loading your boat.

Sizing on these is toddlers for sizes 3/4, 5/6, 7/8, 9/10, 11/12, and 13/1 Then the sizing moves to more kids sizes with the 2/3, 4/5. So know that if the size starts with a odd number then it will be on the smaller (toddler) sizing and if it begins with a even number then it is more on the larger (young adult) scale of sizing. I hope that this will help you all get the right size.

As is this will not work to carry two canoes. This comes with a 58" load bar witch will not be wide enough for two canoes as most canoes are 36" wide. By getting a longer load bar you could make this work but you would need to have the Thule Canoe Carrier to see that the boats are secure.

You would have no problem with a 32 brand boot with these CAD bindings. Just make sure that you are getting the right size binding for you size range. Guru tells you: This jacket does not have the ninja cuffs (wrist gaiters). In case you were interested the powder skirt does have the snap buttons (well the receiving side of the snap) around the bottom. Jacket to pants interface is such a good idea.
