Black Diamond GlideLite Nylon STS Skins

Black Diamond GlideLite Nylon STS Skins

Have the 120mm size for my Hippy Stinx and they work great. Watch the Black Diamond video for trimming the skins, and you'll be fine.

This is what all my backcounty partners use. Super easy to use - hopefully I'll never have to.

Cheap and work great

Black Diamond Traverse Ski Poles

Black Diamond Traverse Ski Poles

Rating for this product: 5 November 14, 2006

The flick lock holds well and the poles have a nice swing weight to them. Leave the carbon poles for the fancy boys - poles get worked in the backcounty.

Nice twintip all mountain ski

K2 Piste Pipe Telemark Ski

K2 Piste Pipe Telemark Ski

Rating for this product: 4 November 14, 2006

Shame about the graphics. Basically the Public Enemy with inserts, it's a great all mountain ski for powder, steeps and bumps. Could do without the over the top agro topsheet though.

Arc'teryx Gamma MX Hoody Jacket - Men's

Arc'teryx Gamma MX Hoody Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 May 12, 2006

Very versatile jacket, my Gamma SV was often too warm, particularly skinning in the BC. The MX is great for most winter days and breathes really well. If it's super cold, just layer with a lightweight fleece. Arc'teryx stuff is expensive, but the fit is great for athletic builds.
