Stoic Tour Softshell Pant - Men's

I just used these for two days of powder skiing with temps around 20 F. They worked great. I also use Patagonia simple guide pants. The Stoics protect from wind better, and are more water resistant. The pocket were not a problem at all for me. They also fit fine. I have mediums and I am 5'7" around 165 lbs. Waist is normal 32-33, inseam in jeans is 31".

These are great. As soon as I started running in them I ordered a second pair. Went back to get more but they were gone. They are a little ugly, but you get used to it. Nice cushion, great protection on trails. If you are into ultralight backpacking these are a good choice. For running the traction is fantastic.

Potential but will need more weight (additions) to make it work.

So this is good for one person, no dogs. The poles are a problem with more volume occupied. It also does not come with enough stakes to make it really stable. Mine does not have a loop on the front for a line to stabilize the pole. I also think you need a pole on the back, or tie it to a tree.
