Dynastar 6th Sense Huge Ski

September 16, 2009

Is this identical to the '09 Huge Trouble? If it's the same ski, I'm curious if the manufacturer recommended mounting position has changed from '09. The internet wisdom for the Huge Trouble was to mount about 2.5cm back from the manufacturer line.

Atomic Big Daddy Ski

Atomic Big Daddy Ski

Rating for this product: 4 March 31, 2009

Fred,

I too was deeply offended by the writer's original description. To wit,

1. Is "harder" really an appropriate adjective to describe bombing a country? In fact you can't come up with an adjective that works for both meanings because in this case "bombing" and "bombing" are homonyms, not synonyms as would be required for such a literary device.

2. "pick your prom date up in these super fat powder beasts". It should be "ON these super fat powder beasts".

3. The author calls these skis "boats" and compares them to a car known for it's soft suspension, but subsequently describes the skis as stiff, so which one is it?

4. "when the powder's been driven into the ground" - is that an attempt to revisit the car motif or the bombing motif? Weak.

Sincerely,
Float
