Both Backcountry and all Scarpa sizing charts I have goggled so far say that these boots in size 24.0 are equal to a European size 39. But actually they run a bit small. A foot with size 39 would be better off in a 24.5 or 25.0.

I am a fan of these skins. The glide is good and with good care they don't ice up too often with the use of skin wax. Cutting the skins can be a little difficult but with a little patience it's really not that hard. measure twice cut once. They are holding up great after having 50+ days on them.

needed to mount up a pair shorts with rid stiff cartridges and it turns out that it isn't possible, Heard right from the horses mouth from the guys at BD. The cartridge is too big and you won't be able to get them tight enough to snap the heel piece on. This is for a scarpa t2 25.5 size boot :(

Love the fit and the flex but when I put them into Marker Jesters there was a lot of movement between the interface of toe piece of the binding and the toe of the boot. The toe height can't be adjusted on the Jesters so I will be passing on these boots. I put some Nordicas in the same bindings and everything was snug and there was no movement.

Only had one day on the Icelantic Shaman Alpine Skis and found them to rail nicely on groomers as that being all there was to ski on the day I had them. Don't have much to say about the skis yet, but so far I like them and they ski really well. For mounting the markings on the skis ..BC-|.. ..CC-|.. ..|-C..|-B..|-A..

BC is for boot center, CC is for core center and the other marks (A B C)are for tele mounting depending on your boot size. I will post a pic of the markings

The Marker Duke Ski Binding is Bomber. I love and hate the fact that the lever to switch over from AT/SKI mode is under the boot and won't accidently flip to an undesired position. But this allso makes it so you have to get out of your skis all the way to switch modes. The flip can be kind of difficult if you have lost all feeling in your fingers or have bulky gloves on. They have toughed it out alot better than I have thought and have only seen a problem with the front screw plate, the one that connects the bindings to the skis, craking, likely to the skrews being to tight, it was still able to be ridding out though just not in AT mode and backcountry.com hooked it up with a brand new pair no questions asked. They are the heaviest things out there but if you want a reliable predictable binding with a hudge din then you want the Marker Dukes if you don't need all the Din and want the same sweet features go with the Marker Barons. You can deffinitly feel the weight diffrence between the dukes and the Black Diamond Freerides when Skining.

In Powder The K2 Hellbent skis is like riding a trampoline down the mountain. These skis are super fun when all you have is a few inches to get the most out of. They are very playfull, jumpy and a sinch to ski. These skis make skiing powder easier than skiing groomers. Jumping off stuff takes some getting used to as you don't have to lean so far back to make the skis rise to the surface, you need to be more centered on the ski and they will do all the work. Once the mountain gets tracked out though they become a little much for me to handle being as they are really soft and don't like to ski the crud or bumps at all. I am 5''6' 140 and the 179s were great for my moderate skiing ability. The K2 Hellbents are a great ski to have in your quiver but not as your daily driver.

These bibs are great I am 5'6'' and 135lbs and have a 31'' waist. The mediums fit a little baggy and long but don't feel huge. I am able to fit my padded shorts on under them and not feel to restricted. The leg cuffs will take some abuse as long as you are not walking directly on them. They have stayed water resistant for some time now at least 50+ days but are needing a wash and reapplication of nikwax tx spray on and they should be good as new. The vents on the upper part of each leg have mesh in them let enough air in to cool you off. I have noticed that I need to adjust the suspenders one every two times out but other than that they don't slip much at all. I really like these bibs for the price. I would go with he mountain hardware exposure II bibs if I was looking for a back country ski bib as they have full leg zips.

The Light & Motion ARC bike light is pretty decent casting a nice spray of light. I like the soft yellow light it has. The battery pack Velcro secures the battery tightly in place. The head mount works great but can be a little tricky to tilt the light as it is only held by compression in little groves but it does stay where you want it to. I would say that the time is decent for most of my night rides I can get about and hour and forty five min. O and there is only one light setting it;s either on or off no dimming.

I have one of the Shimano America LX 9-Speed Bicycle Chain on my single speed and haven't had any problems with it. no lube for a while because I am lazy it gets a bit noisy but thats hardly the chains fault. so far I have had this on my bike for at least 50 rides without problems and for the price its great.

I have had great luck with Protect'Air Tubeless Sealan. It has fixed many a flat from goat heads. I found if you put your finger over the hole it helps seal it faster. Holes about the size of a pencil you won't be able to seal though. I prefer this over stans, seems to last longer and seal faster.

Does what it is supposed to. The Backcountry.com Goat Klean Kanteen works great with none of that BPA scare stuff. Keeps whats in the bottle tasting exactly how it tasted before you put it in. No weird tastes leech in. Not as durable as a nalgene and I found that it's easy to put dents in it especially on the bottom which makes it sit funny but I was able to bang them out a little.

the Nikwax TX Direct Wash In works great at getting more life out of that jacket you spent $$$ on. I have used this on all of my jackets and has helped keep me dry. I use it with the spray on tech wash to get the most waterproof I can. Have used by itself and would definitely buy it again.

I shave my head in the summer and need sun screen the scalp kinesys spray sunscreen works great. The spray gets a nice application and I haven't had a problem with a burnt brain yet. Little pricey but it has lasted a while as I don't over apply since it goes on evenly.

I have had great luck with Ben's 30. I usualy use the stronger version but this did a great job keeping the bugs off. Lasts a while if your not sweating much. the spray is great for applying.

Needed to wash all my soft shells. This stuff did a great job used the whole bottle in my machine for 4 jackets. They work like new and look like new as well. No left over funk on my jackets either.

packs as small as can be and still have a nice feel. I have the large DryLite Towel and it just fits around my 33in waist to quickly change. When ringed out it dries fast. The more it gets used the softer is seems to be getting even though it was soft to begin with.

Overall I haven't noticed a difference between brands. They all last about the same amount of time. This one does have a 13g more of fuel in it so I always end up getting this one.

The msr fule works just as well but you get 13grams more. CAS0375

This is the best value for your money only a couple grams less fuel than the msr . Never had a problem with he snow peak giga powerfuel.

The Thule Universal Flat top has exceeded my expectations. I love the matching lock cores and the quality is great.

The Jetboil Coffee Press is great I used it to replace my French press to consolidate space. Haven't had a problem with my morning joe. Worth the money and takes up little room.

The jetboil 1 liter companion cup does the job It;s just like having two jet boils.

The GSI Outdoor Divided Plate does what it's supposed to do Can throw it in the dishwasher or clean it in a river. The separators do their job and keep my rice beans and entree from invading each other so I can have say of how much been I want with my rice.

Even though my bike costs less than a grand it's still scary having it outside the car attached buy a few jumbles of design. With the Thule Transport T2 after one trip to the trail I was satisfied knowing that my bike wasn't going anywhere and was safe behind the car instead of atop ready to be slammed into a garage. 29er tires barley fit but they do the arm just skims the tire until it is in place by the fork.

I use the GSI outdoor lexan cup for measuring while I am cooking at home and out in the woods. Cleans in a stream or in a dishwasher. What more can I say it's pretty straight up cuptastic.

The Fairshare Mug does a great job with the screw top. The handle is nice but it is pretty bulky, I am tempted to cut mine off but I know when I do I will realize that I like it. Fills with a fair amount of food, enough to fill me up and not over eating. Would buy another one if I needed it.

well as extreme as a fry pan can be. The nonstick has been great and makes clean up super easy most the time only needing some water to swish around. 10" is Great for bacon. Seems to heat evenly on my Msr wisperlite international and jet boil Helios.

Handle never gets too hot to touch. the non stick works great while cooking and aiding in cleaning. Hard to evenly cook bacon on. Great for big mixed dishes like jambalaya.

One of my bird ski bros had one of these filled with Toro bravo(tequila and Kahlua) didn't seem to leak and the top was easy to take off with gloves on with the big ridges on it. the black plastic coating made it easy to hold on to as well while taking swigs on the the chair.

I find that the angle helps while drinking off the shoulder. I run my tube to to the top of my left shoulder so I can turn my head and swig with out having to fumble finding the tube while I am on my bike. They make a CAM0019 that holds the tube that works well.

I like the option of using different fuels and having the reusable canisters and you can choose how much fuel you want to bring if you have different size bottles. Pretty easy to get started once you read the directions. Don't get too discouraged priming it after your first few flame throwers you will get the hang of it. Just don't try to light it in your tent or sleeping bag.

The three different sizes are great. The hole on the top is good for putting a strap through to make sure it doesn't fall off my bag as I like to carry fuel on the out side of my bag. The top seals great and have never had a leak. Super durable being banged around and dropped.

These are better than the old base camps. The tiny egg foam is a lot easier to get used to.

Putting ice in the platypus bladder is easy and I like the bite valve a little better over the Camelbak's.

I don't think I have ever used more than the minimum rope diameter in the grigri and have not had a problem. It's all ways done the job it's supposed to do. seems to last longer than a regular atc. Nothing gets sharp or worn down.

Still a bar but better than the rest. I like eating these on long bike rides and ski tours. Gets a little hard in the pack on cold days but not as hard as other bars and still stays chewy. Nice that they are organic as well.

I love the cherry almond flavor. They get hard to eat after about half the bar. The taste is good but it is pretty dense. The chocolate coating is the best part though. These shorts take a beating. I have had my first pair forever and just finally put my foot through the chami while putting them on. Hopefully this next pair lasts just as long. Tit is great and they seem to have more pockets than my old pair.

This jacket is great and packs well. It is longer in the back so it comes to under my waist. It also it a great price.

Whats not to like. Have heard nothing be good things from my mom about this jacket I had bought her for her b-day. She says it works great in the rain and keeps her dry. And the vents are nice when it is a little stuffy inside the jacket.

Like the boxer briefs. I had to size up to a large on these when I usually wear a medium, I liked these best out of the few that I had tried. Great for warm ski days and in the summer.

I like the room that this bag has in it. When I use my un-insulated air core mat though a lot of heat is lost and I find my self getting cold easily even in the low 40s. When I use a regular foam mat I have no problems at all staying warm. It also will zip together with a Marmot bag. I would definitely buy this bag again. Packs down to a decent size. It's a little heavier than my 15 deg down bag but The synthetic is nice to have since I will mostly be using it in wetter areas.

Got this for my cousins b-day and he loves it the fabric is nice and fits him great. He has had it for about a year and still looks in great shape after many washes and wears.

Wish I would have done some more searching you can definitely find the same grill for a lot cheaper at Wally World. I wouldn't have minded paying more if I thought It was worth it but one of the handles has broken and the hinges don't feel sturdy at all. It cooks great and have used it around 15 times...

I have ridden these with out any problems last season. easy to switch ski and skin mode. They fell like regular bindings but just higher off off the ski. Glad I spent the extra loot and went with these.

Filled up fast with the coleman quick pump. has lasted a month with no holes or leaks I would buy it again.

I wasn't exceptionally thrilled with this tent. It did keep us dry through 3 days of non stop rain but the space and lay out of the tent seemed weird. The two doors were nice but it seemed that the fly was low and the angles of the tent walls were a bit tight. It was easy to put up. It would be nice if it breathed a little better too.

I love this pack it fits great, Haven't tried many other packs because this one just seems to work. As long as you like the tube style of pack that is. definitely have had upwards of 60 lbs on this thing and it did a decent job.

I like the way these tires roll and they grip decently well. Not as well as I would like for my single speed. They seem to wear pretty fast if you are riding on the road a-lot but that is to be expected.

I liked these boots they fit nice but I found it real easy to over tighten them. One should keep an eye on the spin tightener it tends to come loose and need to be tightened with the little allen key that comes with the boots. I lost one but DC was able to send me a new one pretty quick.

The pad on these gloves was in a weird placement on my hand seem to hold up well to rides but just weren't that comfy.

fix holes with seam grip it works great. Even with the treat of holes this has been a comfy pad and takes up little space when deflated.

Holds up great in Strong winds. The two doors are vent very well. The toddtex fabric is amazing has kept the water out in heavy down poor. Fits two people all right but it's a little tight with gear. this tent seems like it will last forever and is well worth the investment.

This fits a little small and i had to size up a size, the green doesn't look like that in real life. it is a bit brighter but not overly bright.

I don't use chalk that often, it's bad form, but when I do I don't like it getting all over the place. This sack does a good job of covering your hands without giving you a cloud of chalk. This style of chalk is now the only options in some gyms. Be respectful and use this instead of loose chalk.

This is great no mess of a bottle to deal with and it is in perfect portions. If your don't need allot just tear one in half. Just make sure you don't get the whole thing wet. I would buy this again in a second.

This thing is great. Don't have to worry about it breaking as you stumble to the ground. Fits nicely in a jacket pocket or in your ski bag. The cup is a nice addition for mixing when you just don't want to take another slug from the jug.

I used this many a time until it got a leak in it from being folded so many times. They say life time warranty but for 8 bucks I just got another one it had served me well. It can all so be fitted with a squirt top from a throwaway water bottle.

I got a decent amount of miles our of these tires. they did a great job digging in on my single speed. Just ordered another pair. Grips corners nicely. Rolls nicely as well and has a nice rounded shape.

SOFT and great cut I'm 6'7'' and 138lbs and wear a medium it shrank a little to be the perfect size.

This thing is sweet stays sharp and bench made will resharpen it and over hall it for free if you send it in to them. The lock is great I am never afraid that the blade with close on me. If you dangle it from a rope the blade has a tendency to pop open. Just don't hang it from a rope.

I have been using these gloves to ski in this winter. I like the padding on the back of the hand as well as the small cuff that fits under my jacket sleeve. The durability is quality as well.

This board has been the work horse of my season. Putting many days on it I like how it handles in everything. I like the stiffness and the feel of the flex. The base has held up to a good beating.

Durability could be better on this mitt. BD needs to wrap the palm over the pinki . This is the only area where wear is seen. The palm has stood up to a long season, The cuff fits under a sleeve but is a little bulky but not uncomfy. I never used the inner liners in these gloves -they seemed to be warm enough on most days with out them.

I have had this jacket for a few months now and it gets worn more than my others. It is great for ski touring and rock climbing. The arm cuffs have little tags to aid in holding the cuff while you put your gloves which takes some getting used to them being there. The fit is great I am 5'6 135 and a small is great. Worn with a thick under layer it has provided enough warmth for most of my tours and does a very good job blocking the wind. The hood fits close to your head like a scuba hood which made it comfortable to wear under my rock climbing and ski helmet.

Forged friends have been around FOR EVER. These are great for desert crack climbing or tied off short for the gunks. They are also light weight, and have a nice trigger action. Not a bad price either.

I have used these cams off and on while climbing with friends that had them. If you don't want Black Diamond cams, these are a great alternative. I wouldn't mind having a complete set of these. They stay put nicely.

I like how the new anodized heads match the webbing. It makes an indispensable tool easier to find. These don't place as much force on rock when weighted as cams do, causing less of an impact. They can be awkward to place sometimes. I still love them - they are great where cams just don't fit.

This is a great set if your are just starting traditional climbing and have aspirations of leading. Learn how to use them while setting up top ropes. I love having these things on my rack. They're light, easy to use, and fit where other stuff doesn't

This wax is great for different conditions. If I'm on my game, I will look at the forecast and try to wax my board accordingly. Check all the different temps and be ready.

Every once in a while I will be too busy to wax my skis before I get out. This comes in handy but does require a reapplication or two throughout the day.

I use fiberglass to scrape my base, but I get a sheet from the hardware store and cut it with a table saw. If you don't want to go through all of that then this scraper comes in handy. Get a sharpener - you will be glad you did.

At 40 degrees my hands were too warm in these gloves. I also like the big cuff to keep the snow out of my jacket sleeve.

I am highly impressed with the abuse these gloves have seen and been through. They fit well and keep my hands warm as long as I'm active.

I wear these on cool days touring or cold days as long underwear under my pants. They are warm and comfortable.

I like the ability to wash and dry with the same towel. I have a small size to wash my face - and to wash in general. It does a great job.

These do a great job - I used them while hiking around the white mountains and didn't have a problem with them. But they don't stop a crampon, so I just need to watch what I'm doing because I'm always putting holes in these and my pants. Anyway, these are easy to use and fit well.

We used my friends MiniWorks on a trip to lone peak here in Utah and it did a great job. WE pumped 30+ liters and only needed to clean the filter out once. I was impressed with how easy it was.

This is great for the winter when your filters freeze up on you - if you have the time to let the solution do its job.

I used my friends set of these and they are so nice to place. With only one cable, they offer better setting options. As a second backup set they are super light. They loose half the strength of the double wires though. I'm so impressed with them that I am getting a pair of them - and there isn't even anything nothing wrong with the nets I have now!

I find this gets the job done. It also helps to place nuts in places that are just out of reach. I find myself using a big screw driver to remove many a stuck nut as well the screwdriver - just gives better leverage.

This was a great tool until I misplaced it. The biner on the end was an awesome feature to have and worth the extra money. Shortly after loosing it, I switched to a beefy screwdriver that will get any stuck nut out, and a cheap nut tool. I hate the cheap nut tool, and wish I would have gotten one of these again.

Not as illegal but you will become addicted. I used these for trips to Indian Creek and they held up marvelously to the abuse that I put them through. They aren't as aggressive or as form fitting to my foot as I would like - I like the fit of mythos better. They are comfy enough for all day traditional adventures, though.

This is a great tool to have for mounting your gear. I set up my own little system, and the use of this helps get the weight off of my waist. It is also nice not to have to reach around trying to get to my gear - it makes things accessible to both hands. It's also pretty comfy on my shoulder.

I like these for use in the summer when it is super hot out here in Utah. I love the added safety it provides my leader. Keeps the mitts free of that rope gunk build up.

This is great at keeping your rope clean and dry. In Utah we have a lot of sandy climbs, so it is important for safety and rope life that you take care of your rope. It also makes carrying a lot easier. Not to mention not having to coil. It took a little while to figure out how to efficiently wrap the rope up though.

You'll be surprised what comes off your rope. The first time I used this I was impressed how much crud came off my rope. I often use the brush while inspecting my rope before and after a climb -it's a nice little tool to have around

I got a pair of these to kick around in. Don't trust them for much more heavy duty use. The fit and appearance are nice. I would get a pair of mountain khakis or Carhartts instead and get twice the life out of them.

These give you more placement options and are nice to use.

These are great to place. Great for someone setting up top ropes or trad climbing. You get your money's worth with these!

It's great to double up on the sizes of nuts you use most. These take up less room on my harness and offer a few more placement options. Superlight is the key word here.

I like the new color code of the Forged Friends. I didn't think that they could get any better. Great for desert crack climbing or tied off short for the Gunks. I love having these on my racks. Good price for these as well.

These Alpine pants are worth the money. They do seem to shrink a bit though, so size up. I love the gusseted crotch and the freedom of movement. I love pant!

You could get some metal duct tape from the home D and make your own on a lazy day. Pretty easy to set up and can notice a difference when cooking on a windy day.

For some reason my old pump wasn't working and switched it out with a new one of these - I haven't had a problem ever since. Seems to have better features than my old one as well.

It's a zip up hoody and its from Carhartt so you know its good. I love my zip up because its easy to take off and it's a nice weight for those kind-of chilly days.

These are great snowshoes for all types of conditions. You can take them all over the place, and when it comes time to put them on or take them off, the bindings are a breeze to use.

These are a very light and effective way to keep snow and muck out of your shoes. The waterproof design is essential and the leather strap keeps them very secure.

These boots are great. It took some time to really get them dialed in to the way I like them but now that they are they're near perfect. A great buckle system combined with the power strap on top gives amazing support. I find in warmer, springtime conditions the liners get kind of soft and I need to tighten them up a bit more than average.

I'm not really wild about this one. It didn't seem to give too many options as far as sizing. I had a lot of trouble trying to adjust the chin strap. If I was wearing a winter hat underneath and then wanted to take it off, it took forever to adjust it.

This Jetboil works too well. I'm not able to cook with it on full blast. I usually end up burning stuff. Even when burnt, cleanup is easy.

Every time I go to the Canyons, I find something new. The mountain always seems to be getting bigger. Don't really like how you have to ride a short lift up to get to the bottom of the lifts from parking. Everyone is friendly, even to a sketchy snowboarder like me. Everyone I ran into asked how I was doing or if I was finding everything all right. I decided to see if they knew anything and asked a bunch of the employees questions, and they were all pretty knowledgeable and were able to answer my question or point me to someone who would be able to. I'm impressed!

Haven't needed anything major out of this pack. My parents gave it to me for my car and I like having it in there in case I need it. The band-aids and asprin have come in handy and have needed to be replaced. Would also be great if you had kids traveling with you.

I have never owned a pair longer or have taken such good care of socks as I have these. I treat them how they treat me. Great for warm day hikes. These have seen a lot of use and abuse. Im getting another pair because the pair I have is so great!!

I used this beacon for a few days and was satisfied with it. I prefer the peips dsp, seems to be easier to use and have better range.

super liteweight. So comfy Its like wearing a baseball cap and you forget that you are wearing it. Breaths nicely. A medium is a little big on my 22in around head. The adjustability is also nice.

Pretty good idea. I use a longer ice axe for a semi trekking pole. Pretty nice construction but I really am not a fan of twist lock systems.

between the o1 and the assent I have to go with the 01 it has all the problems worked out and won't cause you any trouble. They seem to have a bombproof design unlike the assents.

Having a single pick, this rope runs smoothly. I love using this for an emergency back-up rope or ice climbing on as doubles. Stays dry, and I don't have much problem with it icing up.

I found if you have a tube feed stove that if you turn the stove upside down after it warms up you get better life out of the canister.

Enjoy this SL board. Has a nice sidecut. Handles well at speeds. I feel solid on this solid board. Never Summer is a great company, and I haven't had any complaints about their boards.

I must be doing something wrong because I can't seem to figure these things out. I think I have gotten them and they are pretty easy to release from your ski when you fall. Haven't lost a ski yet.

The snow saw doesn't fit Black Diamond fliclock poles but I still keep her around. The shovel handle is the saws case, BRILLIANT.

this strap extender was easy to install and does exactly what it's supposed to. I'm happy with it and glad I have one.

This watch is steezy fits nicely on my smaller wrists and doesn't look to bulky. The numbers are so easy to read. Haven't had a problem with the gauge I don't believe you will either.

This bag can't get any simpler. Half zipper and no internal neck baffle Compresses down really really small. Wouldn't recommend use for any wet conditions but that goes for all down bags. I am impressed with it's ease of use and it does everything marmot says it will. Im 5'6 and have plenty of room in the regular.

This Precip jacket is great. Keeps ya dry and packs away light and small. Best thing about it is that it doesn't cost an arm and a leg, so it doesn't hurt too bad when you get a rip in it from a stray branch that you didn't see.

This fits great not too tight and not too loose I love the zip for cooling off a bit. Soft and better than synthetic wool is where it's at. Im 5'6 and the small fits great

I used a pair of these and could find much of a difference between the Black Diamond ascensions. Got my up to my lines. Simple as skins come.

Pretty sweet. The intro and breaks between segments were pretty interesting. This is a great movie to watch the day before you're about to shred the sick white. Killer sound track as well.

These bindings are great for charging around the mountain at high speeds. Jump off big cliffs or tabletops in the park. They secure my feet solidly and I never worry about them releasing when they aren't supposed to.

These are probably my favorite pair of pants. I wear them almost everyday and they can stand up to just about anything. They are super comfy and have a nice style to them as well.

This is a perfect combination. The Stove is easy to use. Not the best on fuel but great for a night or two out in the wild and hiking light.

Another super efficient item from JetBoil. Gets the most out of every last drop of heat produced. Make sure you watch your heat settings I burned stuff a lot while I was beginning to use this (due to the efficiency).

I tried this on and it was the softest thing I have ever worn. Couldn't really afford it and it seems like wind would cut through it pretty easily. Would make a great mid layer under a shell. Heavier, warmer, and softer than the r2, looks like it would be much warmer for the price.

I got a small that fits my 22inch noggin pretty great. Nice fitting and doesn't feel heavy when I swing my head left or right. The visor adds a spiffy look as well.

If your bag doesn't have an insulated sleeve then one of these thermal control kits work great. My older bag wasn't very camelbak compatible so I used this with pretty good results as long as I was taking frequent sips.

If you like the Redpoint you will like this jacket. The hood is a nice addition. I just wish the sleeves were adjustable other than the stretchy elastic.

It took me about 4 trips to get somewhat an idea what was available at this resort. Try to get a ride on every lift if you go. Some parts I wouldn't like to ride on a board if i had to make first tracks (honeycomb), but once tracks are set it isn't bad. I have never waited in a line longer than 5 min. The electronic gates are pretty cool as well, not having to show someone your pass or fumble around trying to find it.

This thing is the craziest, steeziest thing I have ever seen I want one to wear around town. What chick wouldn't want to talk to you while wearing one of these in a bar. Great idea!! I would of loved one of these when I was a kid.

The bamboo is great looking, fit's nice. I wish the time window was bigger. More classy style than steezy style.

Seems to take abuse better than the Dyneema Mammut runners. I trust these looping horns or threading holes not your old school beer knot tied webbing but just as strong and less bulky and cheaper than the crazy stuff.

This thing is like one of those accessory carabiners but you can climb with it and it's still strong. My fat fingers have a hard time clipping these things. Dmm and Wildcountry make better full size lite weight alternatives.

I got the small and it doesn't cover my head. This hat fits great and Patagonia has treated me great so I don't mind advertising for them.

I love black diamond gloves, These gloves are superwarm and would really be good for those super cold days. They were warm for me and I would sweat too much inside of them. I like the removable liner and the gauntlets to cover my jacket sleeves. These are great warm gloves.

If you want a shoe with even more water repellency check out the karma. These are great for the summer when I have exhausted all of my socks. Great adjustability.

Great if you want a belt and tool in one. I have the studded belt but wish i had this one because it is a lot lighter. The tools of this belt have come in handy many times.

Cheaper but of the same quality as the more expensive fuel bottles. These get the job done just as well.

I like this stove because you are able to place the canister in different places and turn it upside down to take full advantage of the canister fuel. Easy to operate! but not the greatest at saving weight.

I didn't think that the express screw was going to make much difference from Regular bd screws but these are Just as effective but 100% easier to place. Definitely worth the extra money.

We used these snow pickets in a winter mountaineering class I took. The look a lot heavier than they look. I was surprised how little they weighed and how much abuse they took. I haven't needed one since the class but was impressed by them and how much they can be used for.

Once all set up and figured out it goes up relatively fast and easy. I wouldn't want to fit 3 people in it on a hot day maybe in the winter. Wish it would breath a little better with the tarp down. The skyligt is great when I don't want to take my 4 season.

I love the key lock unfortunately most of my biners don't have the feature. Save yourself some grief and spend the extra to get the keylock. I keep 2 extra of these with my climbing stuff at all times.

I use an atc xp and would recommend upgrading to a Guide xp It's the same belay device just with more options one day you might want the auto lock feature. The teeth are great for double ropes that are smaller in size.

The Chugach is a terrific jacket for camp or town. The Fleece lined pockets are cozy, and it has plenty of arm length.

These boots work pretty well for light backpacking. I found them to not be the best on longer trips, over 5 days or so. They don't seem to have the support to hold up to multiple days with a high number of miles, my ankles felt like they needed more.

I really like this little pack, I use it almost daily for work. It has ample room for me to carry some of my extra gear and is nice and light. The biggest downside is that there is no shoulder strap. It was easy enough to put one there, but it would have been nice to have one included.

The BD Slide pack is light, ultra comfortable, and very functional. I've used it from light backcountry touring, to bicycle commuting, to alpine climbing. It does great.

This is one of the best little packs out there. It has plenty of room for almost all the little things I could need to carry. It's perfect for short day hikes or for any photographer who needs to carry some spare things. A plus is the nice padded shoulder strap.

My sock collection is made up mostly of smart wool socks for the winter and cycling socks for the summer. Smartwools have worked great from kicking around town, to camping in the Wasatch. No down side, I love 'em.

I feel like I've had these shoes forever, probably because I have. They're super durable and very comfortable too. I wear them for day hikes a lot, they have a ton of traction on rocks so I really like them for scrambling.

It's a pretty standard compass, works very well. Don't leave home without it.

This shoe has been great for a general kick-around shoe. The XCR setup allows it to be used in winter when your trudging through a slushy parking lot, but it still breaths well in the summer. The rubber does wear out in about a season, and the lacing system makes it tough to tuck your heal back for serious trail running.

The capline 4 bottoms are just the trick for skiing, hiking, or kickin' around a cold house. These pants dry quickly and move with you beneath any layers, from shell pants to Carharts.

Yearbooks is sick gnar in the gnar gnar. This dvd is filled with awesome lines and amazing camera work. Grab the bro bras take it in.

I really like this little pump. The water doesn't taste too terribly bad after it's filtered, it takes a pretty good amount of time to pump it though. I really like the adapter on the hose end that fits snug into nalgene wide mouth bottle tops.

The simulator is a great addition to winter and summer workouts. Varied positions and sizes help you work whatever your tryin' to buff up. It's also nice and wide, so your shoulders get worked.

How can you not have one of these great little knives? I can't think of how many times this has bailed me out. The scissors are the best part in my opinion, not as good as a pair of house scissors, but they work great nonetheless.

The functionability of this watch rocks. It tells me everything I need to know--even the build in the 3-hour barometer based weather forecast seems pretty accurate. I've had a few problems with the waterproofing, (apparently not great in salt water) and the altitude doesn't stay all that accurate if you change altitudes a lot. Otherwise, it's great.

Filter works great! It's decently fast when the ceramic cartridge is clean and not too bulky (though kinda big.) Dirty snowmelt is its nemesis, so you have to be proactive about cleaning the cartridge every few liters.

This tool can do just about anything. There have been so many times I have used this thing, it's not even funny. I really like how the blades lock into place. I'm never worried about cutting something and having the blade slip out of place and slicing my fingers.

This trekking pole is great. Not too heavy, solid, and easy to use flick lock system. Great for kickin' around the mountains.

Great headlamp for kickin' around camp or on the trail. All the different power settings help you dial in exactly what you need.

New glue helped out a lot. I was having issues with the rear of my skins coming off. New glue fixed the problem and wasn't terribly hard to apply.

Great skins. I like these because of how compact you can get them compared to Black Diamonds Ascension Nylon Clip Fix Skins. I also have a pair with the STS clip and would get those over these if you have tail problems.

I like using these skins and have no complaints. I love the tail clips they are life savers. I had an old pair of skins for my split board that had this problem. I have yet to have a problem with STS skins.

Things needed to make these awesome. Tail clips/voile straps to keep the tail on. Cheat sheets from Black Diamond. Just remember when trimming to leave some space so your edges are still useful.

Still figuring out how to set up this system in a timely manner. All ways seems to take me awhile, but once done right its super easy to use out in the Field.

I'm a better snowboarder than skier and the skiers were having all the fun off piste. This board makes it possible to enjoy the same off piste skiing easier. The system is super simple to set up and after a while it really doesn't take you that much more time to set up. Just make sure your paying attention and you don't set the bindings in tour mode backwards. The super wide platforms for the skins is all so awesome at going straight up stuff others can't. Performs well and love touring on it.

I used this bag for a 2 week trip and was able to keep all my gear in it. Kept all of my gear safe being thrown around by flight crews. Be careful filling it though I over filled mine and had to pay extra on my flights.

When this pad holds air it is great. Putting it in a tub and sitting on it is great at finding pin hole leaks. Packs up small. I like using it with a z folding pad as well.

I only store my pad in this sack when I'm hiking around. Fits nicely but for faster auto inflation store the pad inflated in the back of a closet.

I have had to fix my pad more than three times. I guess I am just careless and it gets pin whole leaks in it. For finding the leaks that have you waking up in the floor in the morning throw the pad in the tub then sit on it and look for little bubbles. If that doesn't work get a z folding pad

I found this chair easy to set up and even more enjoyable to sit in definitely worth the extra weight.

I use one of these for my marmot 15 degree bag, and I can get it down to the size of about big honeydew melon. Saves space and worth the extra weight.

I like how well these compression sacks will get my GoLite sleeping bag. The amount of room I save in my bag is inconceivable. The Straps are easy to pull and release.

Provides a nice catch if you have a good spotter to guide you to it. Good price. When folded I like to put a water and my shoes in the middle.

I have fallen on this pad numerous times threw my bouldering excursions and have yet to find flaws. Stands up to abuse. Side not. This pad does not like to be close to fire so on a cold night make things aren't melting.

These are great at solving my full face fog problem. Every once in awhile my glasses will fog up but I have found that it is mostly because of my glasses being dirty. Want to try the lens dock system so I don't have to wear my glasses in the goggles. The fit for me is great. The fan isn't silent but is a small humming that is easy forgotten about. Grab the case as well to protect them.

I like the extra lense sleeves and the mesh that helps my soaked smiths dry out. Compatible with my anthems and phenoms. Worth protecting your investment.

As easy as replacing my lens in my oakleys maybe even easier. The rose color doesn't see much use though because I am usually using my blue/yellow lens

Hi yellow/blue I like this color and it seems to get used the most. It's great during heavy dumps or a bit of fog on the peak. Definitley for lower light it lets in just about as much light as a clear lens. I find that sometimes they replace easy and other times it's a pain in the butt.

Fit like the oakley a frames but they seem to fit a helmet a little better because of the strap placements. Also you can't beat the high yellow lens for low light. I would get these over A frames and oakleys other newer goggle.

A free hat is always cool but these goggles just don't impress. I wear a helmet and they fit even worse than my a frame's strap. They are also for a narrow face so I am left with a pretty big gap that I can see threw by my nose.

I found it pretty easy to set up this tent. Fortunately I haven't been hit with any really bad conditions yet. I have been rained on and it did keep me dry. The mesh pockets around the inside of the tent are nice. 3 people can fit if you really need them to but everyone is on top of each other and gear out side.

I keep a roll in my climbing bag for all those different options it can be used for. Comes in handy if I want to work on a project in the gym and my pads just don't want to take anymore.

I have not had a problem with my cap and have used it for at least a year. Can be annoying if you do catch it on something, but it makes drinking out of the bag a lot easier.

I got one of these because I always seemed to be loosing my water all over my front seat due to it being accidentally set on the bite valve. This has fixed the problem, but if it freezes on you, it's kind of a pain to get clear.

Seems to make clearing a frozen hose a little easier. I have found that keeping hydrated helps me stay warmer, as well feel a little better they day after a hard workout. This bite valve makes hydrating easier.

I was carrying the tools anyway, so this just makes it easy to carry them, just in case you need to use them.

Seems like your normal plastic silverware but a little beefier. It was nice to have a fork, spoon, and knife for my meal of soup, rice, and sausage. The knife cut, the spoon scooped, and the fork stabbed.

I was using a leatherman to handle my pots with little success. I got to use one of these on a trip and it made things a lot easier. I like how it made pouring easier.

These bindings are really nice. They seem to perform great in all conditions. The only time they seem to release is when I really would want them to, never a pre-release or anything like that. I highly recommend these for someone looking to enjoy a quality binding at an affordable price.

Capable of hauling anything. Very easy to install and very solid set of bars. I have had these bars for years and they're still like new.

Virtually eliminates any wind noise created by the rack. Stop hearing that annoying sound of wind whistling through the bars and put a fairing up there. Adds some nice style to your setup too.

Get rid of those crappy factory bars and install some lowriders and new bars. It greatly improves the amount of cargo area on the roof and it isn't huge and bulky. This set allows me to carry just about anything from skis and bikes, to couches and other random things.

Really comfortable and practical. These things are great, especially when I wear my helmet. Some goggles I've had in the past didn't fit quite as well with a helmet, but these are great.

Another movie joins the rotation in the retail store here in SLC, Great music and pretty film. Ski flick I enjoy and recommend not the newest on the market at the moment but should definitely be watched.

I have a medium size face and was looking for something that would give good coverage with no gaps. If the factor is too much coverage go down to the factor max and if that style is too big go to the factor. The Changeable lenses are a nice bonus.

If you’re looking for light weight touring you found your bindings. Even though the classics are lighter these give you the option of adding breaks and easier riser adjustment. They will keep you on your skis but I wouldn’t recommend hucking anything big but people seem to push the limits on them without any problems. Make sure your boots are compatible!!

It’s good to wash your stuff i also recommend using the tek wash as well for full waterproof treatment. Don’t be afraid to wash your outerwear thinking you are going to wash the waterproof off. IT is MORE harmful to let the garment get dirty and stay dirty. The accumulation of oils and dirt break down the water proof ness on the coat. Stay dry and look sharp clean that dirty outerwear.

Accidentally did a shirt and it ended up being a little repellant as well. Don't wait till your jacket or pants are Dingy and dirty take action sooner to get longer life out of your investment. Dirt and oil accumulation destroy the waterproof ness of your outfits. Finish up with the TX Direct spray on for best results. Throw in the dryer on a low heat. BUT be careful some materials can melt if the dryer gets too hot.

Feel like your tangled up with that old style avalung sling and your old backcountry bag. Black Diamond has combined the two effectively. On your left side you have your avalung and on the right you have your camelback. Both zip away nicely. The avalung exhales farther behind you and away from your body. I found that the 32l is great for a day tour with room for first aid food and extra layers. Carries skis diagonally and a frame style.

It has an easily accessed pocket for your shovel probe and saw, I suggest putting longer brighter zipper pulls on that pouch to help opening with gloves and help others locate the pocket

If you like smart wool socks you will like these. Merino wool is awesome, EVERYTHING Merino. Have been wearing them for two months so about 10+ times and they still are in good shape. I have no complaints. They fit snug.

Thought I might help some ladies out. This is a great base layer or layer to just hang around in. Nice style and comfort lead to a lot of use. I perfer the natural merino wool fiber over synthetics. I feel you get a broader range of comfort.

I could not be happier with these 3/4 johns. They have seen a lot of use since I got them. My only complaint is that the elastic in the waist seems poorly designed but I don't see it being a problem in the long run and it's actually quite comfy. I believe the tag says to hang dry them. But to get them from riding up in the legs I shrink them in the dryer. I am going to buy a second pair of these. Also the crotch seems to be a little big and could be gusseted.
Over all I really like these over my synthetic pair of normal long johns.

Not your itchy wool you’re used to. The finer wool fibers they use in the woolies crew make it just about as comfortable to wear as a normal cotton t shirt but with the added benefits of less odor and better wicking! This shirt has a trim fit so it fits snug.

Good idea in a slim package, but things just didn't come through to work how they should. I recommend the Burton FBI tool!

I have had three of these guys and eventualy the ratchet system always seems to fail. I love how all the bits fit in to the handle. Unfortunately three strikes and you're out. But I got about a season of use out of each. The Burton FBI seems like a good pocket tool. I almost suggest going to the hardware store and getting a craftsman for at-home use.

Nothing is worse than going on a trip with 4 buddies in your car and then there skis, boards and all the gear flying around the inside of the vehicle. Put the sticks on top and enjoy the extra room and keeping the car dryer. I like getting the racks with the lock sets to match. At one time I had more than one set of these up top and was able to lock them all with the same key. You might have to call to arrange the same key locks though. Definitely worth the investment and piece of mind while you leave your car and sticks unattended.

Installs easily and alot cheaper than buying new gear. I think you can get more of the same cylinders as well if you have more than one set of racks.

Stylin hat, Makes a great gift. Not very thick. Fits kind of big as well. The print really wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be.

Great day bag for kicking around town or going on a quick hike. I found the waist straps kind of annoying so they got the ax doesn't seem like you can load it up enough for them to be useful / comfortable. There are better packs over all but for the price this gets the job done.

I love the flick lock and it's easy of adjustment. More reliable than twist lock poles. The bottom part of the pole doesn't adjust it just extends out and clicks into place no adjustments to it’s length. To get it to collapse down both buttons have to be pushed. Takes awhile to figure out but done once it takes less than seconds. It is kind of tricky to do with thick gloves on. I would recommend getting the expedition poles.
BD's replacement baskets work with these polls I use the powder baskets in the winter and havn't lost one yet.

Ask any construction worker and he will say that he has a whole outfit of Carhartt stuff. It may be expensive but they take the abuse un like many other pants. It's not a designer brand They are made to be tough. Definitely worth the extra $$$. They are kind of stiff but after awhile they get a little better. I wear mine at least 2 times a week through rock climbing and random acts of play they still are in great shape. The extra layer of material on the bottom and the knees is a nice touch Pros--- BOMBPROOF. Cons- no gusseted crotch, ridged material. Also check out mountain khakis

Looking through scratched googles because you carelessly threw them in the back of the car=not so cool. Constantly being reminded about my poor actions, I bought a new lens and a case to carry the goggles in. Unfortunately the case isn't a little bigger to hold extra lenses. Only the goggles and the goggle bag fit in the case. Would like to have a beefier clip so i could clip them to something with out having to worry about the case falling off.

If your looking for a super deal on the best goggles on the market, I would keep an eye on steepandcheap.com. I love these goggles; the peripheral vision is good and I only find that they fog up under understandable circumstances, like putting them over your vents on your helmet.

They fit my medium-sized face well and gave decent coverage. The hinges on these are nice and conform well to your face. The bridge or nose-rest fits nicer or a little wider than other Oakley glasses I tried: A wire and square wire.

These seem to set high on my nose and had a less wide nose piece that I like. Has that Oakley quality that I love just didn't fig right?

A little pricy but worth the money I feel. The nose pieces on these are a little wider than the A Wire but not as wide as the Half Wire. These fit my medium face well.

Non hinging. I like the strap that keeps them on but don't really find it necessary for most of the sports I do, would be nice for water sports.

Opinions still in testing but after a month of use this is what I have come to. The ski program only logs up and down and time. I hoped it would log temp as well. It is pretty easy to use the program not much to be confused about. Cycling through the watch is pretty easy after getting used to where everything is and what everything does. I wish there was a way to put the time temp and alt all on one face and a quicker way to switch the logging times. Over all the watch does everything I want it to it just didn't give me that knock my socks off wow this watch is crazy feeling. I'm still trying to figure out how to use the alt/barometer setting to give me the alt. It seems to always need adjusting. Over all I would buy this watch again.

I have been converted to wool. I love these pants. They are great for touring around on cold days or just being lazy in. They seem to transfer moister well. I use these as a base layer. You will like these pants.

I love using these while sport climbing. Don't really use them for much trad. The rope seems to clip itself. Nice piece of mind when you’re pumped out on the crux and all you want to do is get your rope clipped. I don't seem to fumble with these as i do with others. I definitely feel they are worth the extra money.

I’m not too impressed with this pack just from checking it out. The vertical ski option I just don't see how it works, getting nothing bigger than 90mm at the waist. Maybe I am missing something. I do like the quality of construction it seems like it would last a lifetime. I'm a fan on black diamond packs for carrying skis and dakine packs for carrying boards. Don't really like bags that are designed to care both.

Super durable bibs that go up high enough to keep the snow out. Thickest bib arc makes. A little baggier than the SL. Great for lift accessed terrain and the occasional romp in the BC. I wouldn't want to tour all the time in these though. Something a little breathable for those blue bird perfect days is a must.

IF your buddy was carrying the tools to save your life ask yourself if you would rather have him carry a plastic shovel or a metal one. A 200 cm probe or a longer one. The beacon is tried and true And like it's operation but there are better ones on the market today. I recommend checking out the Mammut Avalanche Safety Package or The Black Diamond Backcountry Package

I also like the peips dsp haven’t heard too much about the pulse but what I have heard it might be over the beginners head but I haven’t used one.

If looking for a shovel to throw in the car or just use here in there this isn't a bad choice. I wouldn't use it for my avie shovel though. The blade is a little small and it is pretty light weight. I Have a Black Diamond deploy and love it.

Unfortunately being quite new on the market I would like to see if everything all the bugs are worked out with it. I wouldn't recommend the pulse for someone who hasn’t had any experience using avi beacons but definitely for someone looking for the most advanced.
For first timers I recommend the Peips dsp

I always fall back on using this stove when no normal fuel is around. Just remember to change the jet if you do so. Also flares up sometimes for the newbie, but experience fixes that problem. Quite simple to use. It's a CLASSIC.

Titanium is light but is it worth it. I love sporks as much as the next person when eating taco bell but they just don't work for me when I’m backpacking.

If you find yourself asking what happened to all the food you had just made while you’re sitting around your camp these are a must. Helped me slow down and enjoy my meals a little more. Packs away small. P.S not good for soup.

Great to have extra parts at the house or in the pack for something thats a must have on most trips. Even though complicated looking the whisperlite is pretty quite simple. Take a look when you're board one day.

Dynafit lightness. Great boots. Prefer the wraparound liner to Garmonts liner that has a touring. I chose these over the Megarides on this feature alone. I like the Megarides buckles better though, something about the ratchet system doesn't feel as reliable as the buckles. Skiing these is nice as long as you don't push to hard in them. If looking for a more aggressive set up Go for a beefier system than the Dynafit.

Harder to clean but easier to drink out of. No need for a splash guard here. Make sure your top doesn't contact the heating element in the dishwasher. Pull it off, and put it in the silverware tray.

I have had a few of these Platy Bottles, and for the price they last relatively long. I like them because as you drink they get smaller and stash away easier than an empty Nalgene. Eventualy all of mine have gotten holes in them. Nonetheless, I am satisfied with them. It would be cool if MSR made one of these like its dromedaries.

This belt is pretty heavy but it keeps my pants up, opens my bottels, and tightens my bindings. What more could I ask for? So far, it has been a lifesaver becuase I always know where my tools are.

I up graded to one of these from msr's less durable red dromedary after I got a hole in it. The Red one lasted me a lot longer than I thought it would, and this one is following in its path. I like using these because they take up little space when they are empty and are easy to clean with my Camelback brush.

I got this jacket but in the half-life print. I love the weight of it and the look. Not many people can pull off Burton's crazy designs, but I'm going to try. I love the venting system and all of Burton's extras.

I have used these gloves quite a bit and they are standing up to the beating I am putting them through. My fingers do get a little cold on cold days. I find when my hands are cold so are my feet. A couple windmills with the arms to get the blood flowing usually helps. I am impressed with these gloves and would buy them again.

I like the way that this jacket fits. It packs down smaller than the monkey man and I think it looks cooler too. Using the same principle as an animal's hair, it traps heat in the dead air space the fabric makes, which is why I like to use it for a midlayer. It is also good for kicking back in.

This year it seems like Brighton has put a little more money and effort in making their park better. But if your lookin' for big jumps and super rails, Park City seems to have everyone around here beat. O yeah, they have powder here and there too, if your into that.

I like riding at Snowbird because I find it more challenging than Brighton and Solitude. Don't know about Alta because I snowboard. Get there early and get the good stuff. Unfortunately there can be lines mostly on the weekends and on powder days.

I love this mountain it is properly named because i can all ways find powder here even when it's been a few days after a storm. Lifts are kind of slow but the riding it great. There seems to be a lot of great runs for beginners here. They have great off piste riding as well. Check um out http://www.powdermountain.net/

MMM pricy. I have been useing this jacket to tour in and ride in the resorts. It keeps me warm and seems to breath allright. The matterial is soft to the touch and not that loud. Not sure I like micro fleece on the inside durring a pow day I was noticing that snow liked to accumulate on it. I also didn't find the pow skirt too helpful. I would recomend this jacket for more resort skiing and look for something a little more breathable for touring.

Best tele touring binding. Releasable in case of avi and 3pin for pack up protection and easier skinning. The release action seems pretty reliable and haven't had many problems with them coming out when undesired but i don't ski that hard, yet....

For extra emergency back and easier touring go with the three pin version.

Got a set of these for my crb 3 pin hard wires and they fit great and snap into place nicely. I found difficult to install so i guess that means it would be difficult to loose them.

I love my CRBs And like the added protection for my knees. I rarely ever release from my binding when I hadn't wanted them to.

The Black Diamond traverse poles are only an ounce heavier but about 40 bucks cheaper. These do look cooler though.

Don't accidental spear someone, pretty easy to install and work all right. Easy to make fit if not the exact width. I had a pair of 90mm wide that i had to bend to get to fit my bc jaks.

Unfortunately you mount your TLTs to the plate instead of the ski so you don't get that quick option of changing bindings back and forth from tele to AT. Other than that they do a great job mounting to a pair of tele skis with inserts.

I've literally spent hours in this tent waiting for thunderstorms to stop and have remained bone dry. It's really light, even with the fly and footprint and is quick to set up. There is enough room inside so I can sit up and not put my head into the roof.

Lawn Dart! This is a very entertaining flick, as with most TGR movies a good mix of big mountains and a bit of jibbing. They put a lot of effort into their product and it really shows with this movie. Great helmet cam shots from Alaska are the perfect thing to put it into perspective. Even after a few years this one still holds up to what is coming out today.

Get Crunk on the booter. This one has some of the most progressive jibbery out there and doesn't fail to entertain. With a jaw dropping segment coming from hucker, Jamie Pierre, this movie is sick. Watch these guys slide just about any rail they can find. See where freestyle is going with some these crazy daredevils.

I enjoy listening to this movie about as much as I enjoy watching it. This movie has been getting me hyped for this season. I definitely recommend it! If you're suspect, go to the retail store in slc and check it out, it's playing all the time.

Don't really like the look or fit of these. They are for a narrow face I had a gap that i could look through on the base of the goggle. Also this Style does not have the sticky rubber that the other wisdoms have that help keep them on your helmet. I would go with the Aframes. Havn't tried the crowbars yet.

Not food but gas to warm that food up. I like using these compared to the canisters due to the recycle ability and not having to warm them up. As mentioned before duck tape is great on these. Add an extra wrap or two for some emergency tape.

Brighton is the closest resort to SLC that offers night skiing. Not many people take advantage of this so there are hardly ever any lines. Great to get some turns in after work when all the other resorts are closed. Unfortunately the whole resort is not open to night skiing.

The bird is sweet! Take full advantage of easy access of the bird with the tram ticket. On a side note Now with the puruvian tunnel opening access to mineral basin will be available when the wind closes the tram a lot easier than having to go up 3 different lifts. Get there early to get the freshies.

Great for attaching to Bd poles and other poles with the similar widths. Great for digging pits and everything else you use a saw for. Easy to use. I don't have any complaints about this saw.

Wash that coat! Dirt is your water proofer's worst enemy. Your outfit will last longer and perform better if you wash it often. Wash with Nik wax tech wash then follow up with this spray on. I have used this product many times with great results. I usually end up spraying and then rubbing the jacket to get an even covering, then throwing it in the dryer on a low heat.

Don't like Carhartts all rough and ridged that never seem to break in? These are great! Softer denim lets these pants feel comfortable right off the get go. Fit nicely but could use gusseted crotch. These do wear out a little faster than the more rugged Carharrts like the washed duck work dungarees.

You can carry a snowboard on this pack!! Not as well as some other bags but it is possible. My favorite feature is the ice axe holder where the handle slides into the pack through a sealed hole that’s what that buckle is for on the bottom of the pack. The waist band is nice and padded so it is pretty comfortable. I didn’t find the pockets that were on the waist band too incredibly useful since the compression straps for the belt went directly over them. This bag can carry everything you need and more for day tours.

These things are great for pulling your riser bars up while touring. I use one every once in awhile if I am planning on doing something where I would like to have something to arrest a fall or aid in booting up sketchy terrain. The whippet part is removable if you wanted to use the pole by it’s self. I believe that the pole it’s self is bigger diameter than other FlickLock poles.

On those super cold days, I throw 2 of these in my bag before I go on a really cold tour. They do a great job at warming up frozen hands and feet. I put them under my boot liners and that seems to warm my feet up a little, and if I really need the full brunt force of the heat, I will put them directly under my toes on my sock. I love having these around for an option to save a day where my feet are freezing. They seem not to be effective if they are more than a year or two old. I have gotten my dad and my brother to use them as well. Great if you just can’t see yourself upgrading to the battery pack and foot bed warmers.

Had to go with the bright color for those sketch ski tours in the Wasatch, I like to be seen. I also have a North face free climb apex jacket, and I prefer this one. I like the light breathable material under the armpits. The removable hood is a nice feature, but I have yet to use it, removed on first day. The one thing that bothers me about this jacket is it seems that the heaver red material on the arms isn't on the right place. With my arms to my side, when I bend them at my elbows as if I were planting my poles, the yellow lesser thick material is on top. Seems like fashion won out over function here :(. I will still wear it because it looks so good though.

Three millimeters is a little thicker than a house key. I like using this Sterling Mini Cord for different uses for gear and organizing. I also keep a little spool in my pack.

I upgraded from an old ice axe that weighed too much. Nice feel in my hands and has done a great job with what I need it to do. I went with the BD slider leash which gives me a bit of extra security because I'm always dropping things.

I like the slide feature of this leash, paired up with the raven pro, it makes a great setup. So simple I could figure it out.

I love this set. I think it should be mandatory that if you buy a Nalgene, it should come with a splash guard. Now if I could only keep track of the splash guard when cleaning the nalgene. Provides a smooth flow of beverage without loosing any on your shirt.

Great tool to have in your bag if you're not sure about the terrain you will be going through. Packs down quite small. I also use bd ice line. Comes in handy when your buddy wants to drop that cornice before they take the run, keep um safe tie um off. Strong enough to repel on. If mine saw more use, I would replace it after a few uses.

I noticed my cams getting sluggish and dirty so I got some warm water and soap and cleaned my cams. Used this lube on them and haven’t had any problems take away the scratches and they worked almost as good as new. I have also tried bike chain dry lube (white lightning) which also seems to work.

This thing sees a lot more use than I thought it would. I keep it with me while I am climbing and ends up hanging me from gear while I am trad climbing or doing a project. I like the Petzl hook better though, seems lighter but doesn’t come with the sling.

Your typical FlexFit hat but with the addiction logo. The deals were too good to pass up. I wish it had the address on it someplace though.

I just started drinking tea right before I got this mug, I was suprised how long it will keep my tea hot. A trick to keep it hotter longer is filling the mug with hot water then dumping that water and putting my hot tea in it.

Somehow I got a hole in my old Camelback, and I needed a new one. This was a perfect replacement. I love the wider opening for putting ice in and cleaning.

This towel is like chamois but lighter and softer. I still like my huge cotton towel as long as I don't have to carry it around; this seems to be more efficient though. Absorbs and dries fast.

I never got this chair because it was too hard to put together. I had problems with the push buttons. Once I figured it out, I wasn't able to sit in it comfortably.

I bought this repair kit in case I broke one of my poles; fortunately I haven’t had the chance to use them but seem like they would do the trick. Kind of pricey though. Not sure if I would spend the money again though.

Get off me bugs. I love this stuff keeps the bugs off. I have handed ben's out to others that were getting eatin alive while I was only seeing them buzz by. Never used the weaker 30 deet becuase this works so well. Lasts pretty long as well.

Smells like the beach and keeps the sun at bay. Nice small size that takes up little space in my pack. I still rub the spray in to get better coverage. Sunburn really stinks. Protect yourself and spar this sunscreen on.

My water reservoir has never tasted so good. Effectively holds the reservoir open while hangin from anything a hook will hook on. Also get the brushes for the best clean.
