Bio:
Employed at Backcountry.com moved to Utah OCT 2005 I try and take advantage and put to use the gear I have acquired. I live in a gear closet, literally.
I climb and bike in the Wasatch and Southern Utah and take the random trips about every other week. It is hard to leave the Wasatch with so much to do just in my back yard.
I have been biking for as long as I can remember and have spent the last three years solely on a single speed. Last season I spent 100+ days riding. This year I am stepping it up and building a 6in bike from the ground up part by part.
I have been climbing off and on since I was 10. I like long easy trad routes. When I look up at a climb it sends chills of awe and anticipation through me. Then I think well if this is how it makes me feel looking up it's got to feel a lot better looking down
I ski in the back country around the Wasatch and ride at Snowbird in the winter. Occasionally I hit the ice when the snow isn't good.
I wish ther more.e was more water around SLC, I would love to get into white water boating

Backcountry.com Stoic Inbounds Glove - Men's
February 7, 2009
The backcountry Inbounds gloves are are bit more bulky than I like when ice climbing but they kept my hands warm in 30deg temps and stayed respectively dry without the Nikwax leather treatment. They were bone dry after being in my sleeping bag when I used them to climb the next day.
