Burton Chopper Snowboard - Kids'
December 8, 2008
I would suggest waiting a few years before buying him a snowboard as kids at that age do not have the leg strength to really snowboard for any length of time. I started my daughter when she was 7 with Private Lessons and she was good for about 40 minutes before she would have to stop. The instructor explained it to me that it is normal because they have not developed the leg strength. They seem to pick up on sking quickly and are able to keep up if you want to ride together.
