Burton Chopper Snowboard - Kids'

December 8, 2008

I would suggest waiting a few years before buying him a snowboard as kids at that age do not have the leg strength to really snowboard for any length of time. I started my daughter when she was 7 with Private Lessons and she was good for about 40 minutes before she would have to stop. The instructor explained it to me that it is normal because they have not developed the leg strength. They seem to pick up on sking quickly and are able to keep up if you want to ride together.

I was hoping to be able to put my cell phone in this thing but it is about the size for a pack of smokes if that is your thing. Very Sturdy and Crushproof.

Worth Buying

Backcountry.com Goat Liner Glove - Men's

I bought these because the 80 dollar gloves were not keeping my hands dry. Worth every cent and nice to have the gripping on the palms so you do not have to take them off if you need to adjust equipment.

Amazing Boot

Burton Driver X Snowboard Boot - Men's

Well I just snowboarded a Glacier in Austria and must say that these boots were great. Feet were super dry but a little sore around the shin area due the boot being very stiff.

Love the Binding

Burton P1Snowboard Binding

Burton P1Snowboard Binding

Rating for this product: 5 March 10, 2006

Very good binding but could not get the toe strap to stay in place always kept sliding off even though it was installed and adjusted properly. So I just went to the straight strap over the top of the foot. With the toe Strap it was nice not having my feet pinched but very aggravating having it come off in the middle of a run. So all in all great binding just forget about the toe strap.
