GoLite Phantasm Jacket - Women's

GoLite Phantasm Jacket - Women's

Rating for this product: 4 June 21, 2009

This jacket fits very true to size with some wriggle room underneath if you need to add a light fleece. I wore it with a T-shirt in hailing/torrential downpour conditions and stayed relatively dry. Truly packs light and easy to throw into a side hip pocket for easy access anywhere. Long enough in the back to keep water off the butt and brim keeps water off the face. Sleeves long enough to keep wrists covered even when reaching up overhead. Tough shell stood up to hiking through sharp brambles and foliage. Ventilation wasn't as superior as I'd hoped as I did stay a bit clammy during the downpours, but maybe that was just because I was sweating profusely as well. Overall, great jacket for summer hiking conditions. I will be putting it the test under alpine mountain conditions this winter. Looking forward to it.
