Nice jacket with a fatal flaw

Marmot Bluebird Insulated Jacket - Women's

Marmot Bluebird Insulated Jacket - Women's

Rating for this product: 3 January 29, 2009

This jacket has everything a jacket should...ample pockets, nice color options, removeable hood and it's insulated. However, the fact that the hood is not helmet compatible is a big no no for my wife. You can get the hood over the helmet but the front zipper doesn't zip up all the way.

If you don't plan on wearing a helmet this jacket is recommended. If you want to wear a helmet find something else.

Marmot Bluebird Insulated Jacket - Women's

With proper layering I think this jacket will be as warm as anything else out there short of a down jacket. The lapis/deep blue color is not bright...it's a nice blue.

Atomic Sugar Daddy Ski

Buy any binding that works for your weight, height, and aggressiveness. Make sure you order brakes of 100mm.Yeah the brakes are important but do yourself a favor and buy something lighter than the Atomic bindings. Think Look/Dynastar PX12's or 14's or even better spring for Marker Jesters.

I think you'll mind the 183 being too short more than the 193 being too long. The added length will help with stability too. Go for the 193 and don't look back.
