My LeBaron's broke spontaneously... :( The hinges are metal but are apparently very poorly cast metal. One of my hinges broke through the body of the attachment tab. I was just taking the glasses off my face, no rough stuff at all. Worst part was, I was stuck in Mexico and had to go from my favorites (the LeBarons) to a pair of crappy $2 Tijuana specials. Poor form of Spy to use such poor castings. And of course I've lost my warranty info etc. so I'm just out the money. Bummer.

Great style, worthless function

Nixon Fidelity Watch - Men's

Nixon Fidelity Watch - Men's

Rating for this product: 1 December 9, 2005

I was stoked to receive this watch. I have smaller wrists and most newer watches look stupid huge on me.

I got tons of compliments on the looks and really enjoyed the comfort and interface of the watch.

Problem is, the backlight stopped working after ONE WEEK. With the black LCD, you basically then can't see the display. Not so great, Nixon.

I called them and apparently this is a new model and I assume they're still working the bugs out. I tried to exchange the watch for another model through Nixon and they refused, saying they could only repair the watch. This site doesn't carry the watch I was interested in exchanging for.

I'm gun shy now though, I returned the watch and won't be buying again. Bummer.

I totally recommend these; they’re very well made, unique, and stylish without being obnoxious.

I got the platinum smoke model, they're sort of burnt amber and look a bit reddish in the sun for someone looking at you. The lenses don't color your perspective however (i.e. don't make thinks look red). Very solid and comfortable on my narrowish head, I can wear these for hours without any discomfort or slipping. More of a cruising around sunglass though, not really for sport although they do have cutout tabs on the earpieces for straps.

Best compliment I've gotten so far: watching an old Magnum PI episode on TV where Magnum was in disguise and my friend turns to me and says 'Magnum's sunglasses look like yours'! Awesome.
