I have the women's precip and have worn it alot over the past 2 or 3 yrs and highly recommend the women's precip. (Men's should be similar)

Fantastic for activities in hot weather

I love these shorts. They are sturdy enough to wear when racing sailboats, yet classy enough to wear to dinner with a dress shirt! Yes, that's what I said...dinner ware. Very clean lines and flattering to boot! They do run a little generous in size. I'm now working in a tropical climate and these are cool and lightweight. Very comfy! (I've got 3 pair now).

Great Jacket

Marmot Tamarack Jacket - Women's

This jacket is Great! I love the pit zips. (Being over 40, I won't buy a jacket without them.) It runs true to size. It is light enough to wear in warm weather. I zip my Marmot fleece into it and it's perfect for cold weather. It's great on a scooter. My only criticism is that I would like one larger pocket to store rain pants in when needed.There are lots of regular and small ones though.

I enjoy the toe protection and it is great for relaxed boating. I have a little difficulty keeping the shoe on is competative sailing (might need exact size, not 1/2 size bigger). My foot is coming out in the middle above the toe box, but I'm really scrambling over the cabintop during competative sailing and tough on the shoe. I got no blisters though. The toe box is hot as well, but I like the fact that it is a boat shoe that drains water well, grips the deck well, and protects under normal conditions. Other than the toe box being hot, it's very comfortable.
