Perfect Tent

Mountain Hardwear PCT 2 Tent 2-Person 3-Season

Mountain Hardwear PCT 2 Tent 2-Person 3-Season

Rating for this product: 5 October 28, 2005

Did eight days on the Appalachian Trail in November with this tent. It rained every night, not one leak or discomfort. Rain fly extends just far enough on the sides to keep things (boots, etc) from getting rained on. Packs small and is a snap to set up.

Currently using in Afghanistan. Perfect utensil to throw in my bag. Sturdy, yet light as a penny and easy to clean (just wipe across the pants).

Nixon Player Watch - Men's

Nixon Player Watch - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 October 28, 2005

My lady friend bought one for me, this watch is killer. If you think a picture of it looks tight, just wait till you see it in person. I have had NO problems with it, and I get TONS of compliments.

Essential Headlamp

Petzl Tactikka Plus Headlamp

Petzl Tactikka Plus Headlamp

Rating for this product: 5 October 28, 2005

Currently using this headlamp in Afghanistan. Can’t beat it, it’s the best headlamp I have ever used. I cut the straps and stuck it onto my gear. The white light is super bright, red is perfect for night operations, dimmer is a plus (don’t want to blind someone). Still burning strong and not a single problem.

Thule Big Mouth Bike Mount

Thule Big Mouth Bike Mount

Rating for this product: 2 October 28, 2005

Not a very secure feeling. I have had my rack for almost a year. The "claw" is very loose and will slide a couple inches down the frame (I have a Cannondale F600). The bike sways left and right as go around corners and over speed bumps. Going to get a new "more secure" rack very soon.

Thule Hull-A-Port - 2 cradles

Thule Hull-A-Port - 2 cradles

Have it on my Jeep Cherokee holding an 11ft Ocean Kayak. Perfect rack without a single problem. Other kayakers (even surfers) will ask me about it. Takes less than 2 minutes to put the kayak up there and get it all strapped in.
