Another Excellent Piece of Tech Wear from Icebreaker

Icebreaker BodyFit260 Tech Top - Long-Sleeve - Women's

Icebreaker BodyFit260 Tech Top - Long-Sleeve - Women's

Rating for this product: 4 November 26, 2008

I always feel a bit of guilt for how much I spend on Icebreaker ... but never so much that I've ever returned any piece I've ordered. And I think that says a lot about the quality of the brand.

This fits like "bodyfit" should - right next to the skin as a bottom-layer. It's not so tight that you can't get comfortably wear your Icebreaker tank top underneath it, though.

The only thing I wasn't sure about was the neck, which seems excessively long on this piece. It seemed strange while I was trying it on out of the box, but I've worn it twice now and never noticed it during those days.

Strange Name for a Fabulous Shirt

Icebreaker SuperFine190 Airport T-Shirt Long-Sleeve - Women's

Icebreaker SuperFine190 Airport T-Shirt Long-Sleeve - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 November 26, 2008

I will admit that the other reviews helped me make my decision to purchase this shirt. That and my desperately wanting another Icebreaker top that didn't look like technical outdoorsy active-wear.

And this shirt did not disappoint! At first I was a bit worried about the sizing. Even at XS, it is a lot looser of a fit than any other Icebreaker top I own. But after a few turns in the mirror, I quickly realized that the roomier fit took nothing away from what is a gently flattering cut.

Add that to how incredibly comfortable it is, and you have a real winner in my book. I didn't want to take it off and ended up wearing it out that night.

Legless? Hmm ... Okay!

Icebreaker BodyFit260 Legless Bottoms - Women's

Icebreaker BodyFit260 Legless Bottoms - Women's

Rating for this product: 4 November 26, 2008

I wasn't sure about legless bottoms, but having never worn any (and having experienced pain from having my legged bottoms not sit quite right in a tight ski boot) ... I figured "what the heck?" I ordered them last week, wore them most of the day (with my ski boots) last weekend, and am hooked. The only thing I would have done differently is make the waistband wider (and maybe a little lower) ... but I am fairly short so maybe it's just me. I don't regret the purchase at all, and am thinking about purchasing some legged ones as well now.
